La Chula Cafe

I popped in on a whim the place had that comfortable, lived-in feel. My cappuccino tasted fresh and balanced, not overly sweet, and the finish was really smooth. the staff actually listened when I asked a question. it smelled amazing the moment I walked in. I left in a better mood than when I walked in.

I was picking up my shoes next door when all of a sudden I saw the sign: Pasadena Roots, Family Owned and a Quetzal. I immediately stopped in my tracks! I was compelled to walk in and ask what is this beautiful place? A kind and friendly face greeted me behind the counter as I looked around at all the beautiful plants and the gorgeous artisan objects. We began chatting as if we knew each other and were catching up. At some point even “TMI” was said, that’s how genuine this conversation was. No other way to describe my first time visit to this lovely coffee shop. I grabbed some delicious Matcha. I am not a coffee drinker but I’ll definitely be back. (:

We hired La Chula Cafe to bring their coffee bar cart to our baby shower, and the service was exceptional! The drinks were delicious, the setup looked so cute, and our guests loved it. Their communication leading up to the event was amazing!! Super clear, organized, and accommodating with every detail. Cindy and Wendy were so friendly and made everything feel easy and seamless. Truly such a special touch to the day! Would 100% book again!

La Chula Cafe is a delightful gem that truly captures the essence of its roots. The vibrant atmosphere immerses you in a rich cultural experience, making it an inviting place to relax and enjoy. The owner and staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming, adding to the overall warmth of the cafe. My favorite drink, "La Chula," was a highlight, bursting with flavor and perfectly crafted. I wholeheartedly recommend this cafe to friends and family it's a must visit for anyone looking to enjoy great drinks in a lively setting!

We tried the Churro Latte and La Chula Special. Both were delicious! If you like sweeter coffee drinks you will love La Chula Special and if you prefer a subtle sweetness with more espresso flavor, the Churro Latte is for you. I liked that there were immunity boost shots sold here. Looks like they make them there too. You can also find plants and pots to buy. This place is pet friendly. Overall it I a beautifully crafted coffee shop with Guatemalan decor. There is one table outside if you want to sit with a friend. It is such a cute vibe. The owners are also very sweet and welcoming!
