Crema's Take
“This Hurstbourne location has earned a devoted following for its genuinely warm staff and calm, intimate atmosphere filled with cozy table nooks that make it perfect for both lingering over a pour over and getting serious work done. While their specialty espresso drinks shine across the board, locals keep coming back for the clean, welcoming vibe and the sense that Heine Brothers actually cares about craftsmanship in a way that sets them apart from the usual coffee chain competition. It's the kind of neighborhood spot where a lunch break or family visit becomes a small ritual worth repeating.”

Stopped in on a lunch break. It was calm even tho the business picked up while I was in. Person who took my order seemed shy but overall everyone was warm and friendly. Looked and smelled clean. The ham and cheese pocket was yummy! It was a much needed mid day break from work chaos!
My favorite Heine Brothers location. I don’t live in Louisville anymore, but every time I visit, my family and I always stop here at least once for breakfast and coffee. Service is and has always been impeccable. I love the miel for a treat and an oat milk cortado with a cheddar chive egg and cheese biscuit for breakfast.
Great place to get work done. I love the little table nooks. I’m not the biggest fan of their cold brew, but all of their other drinks are good. Service was friendly and the store was clean
One of the local brewer and roasting coffee shop in Lousville. You should try it when you are in town. Better than major chain coffee shop competitor.
It’s national coffee day & Lou Today Specifically mentioned Heine Bros, so we went. The 2 people working behind the counter actively IGNORED us for several minutes & right as I looked st my watch, the gentleman abruptly turned around to help us … almost like he saw. He was oddly canned “customer servicey” to the point of it feeling like he was clowning us, but maybe he had a hard day, who knows. I mentioned we were there bcz it specifically was National coffee day & he just blankly looked at me. There were no specials for the day, no acknowledgment of coffee day. Then it took FOREVER to make 2 pumpkin spice lattes… It’s super fun paying over $12 for 2 coffees & being low key abused in the process. Not impressed & we wish we would have chosen anywhere else.
