Crema's Take
“This Vietnamese sandwich shop opens later in the day and wins hearts with its standout banh mi, particularly the beloved Saigonese version that keeps customers coming back. Beyond the handheld classics, they offer fresh bowls and creative vegetarian options like tofu and plant-based meatballs, making it easy to grab something delicious whether you're stopping by for a quick lunch or a casual dinner. The kitchen moves fast and the staff is genuinely friendly, turning a simple sandwich spot into a neighborhood favorite where everything tastes bright and made-to-order fresh.”

I ordered a Saigonese banh mi. It was okay, but for $17 I expect phenomenal. The meat was kind of bland and there was way too much pâté. I was super messy and hard to eat. I guess I will stick to getting my banh mi from the shops on Federal. I was really hoping this place would be great. The prices are way too high for what you get.
Reviewing a simple sandwich shop today and was pleasantly surprised. They serve some great banh-mi options and other Vietnamese inspired grab-and-go fare. They offer up some great meal deals as well - this sandwich and egg roll were had for $16 which isn’t bad at all! The sticky pork that I had was great and the portion size was fair. I’m not the biggest fan of egg rolls, but it was solid and seemed fresh. Coffee was decent and good in a pinch, but there is a coffee shop next door that the service folks actually recommend you to visit. Overall will be coming back! This is a super nice lunch option for the neighborhood!
Best Banh Mi I've had in Denver! Highly recommend the Saigonese!
I got the lemongrass chicken banh mi, and it was SO good! I can't wait to go back and try the pork banh mi. Veggie egg rolls were also delicious. The food was ready quickly and the service was friendly as well. So glad to have this place in neighborhood!
Delicious!! The vegetarian options are so yummy (both the tofu and plant-based meatballs) and I’m told the meats are just as good. Everything tastes so fresh. I got the tofu bowl but have had the sandwiches too. The service is great and such a fun, welcoming atmosphere. It’s a small space, but perfect for to-go or smaller groups.
