Crema's Take

Third Ave Cafe is a quietly exceptional neighborhood spot run by a warm couple who've perfected an unexpectedly stellar spicy chicken teriyaki that keeps locals coming back—charred, saucy, and deceptively simple in the best way. The spacious, spotless dining room invites you to slow down with light food and traditional drinks, making it an ideal refuge for families or anyone seeking genuine hospitality over hype. Despite their early closing hours, those who discover this unassuming gem consistently rave about the care both in the kitchen and at the counter.

Best Teriyaki in Seattle!!! The Spicy is sooo good. Nice and saucy, the chicken has charred bits, and the salad is delicious. The couple that runs it are also very sweet.

Had been wanting to try this place for a while but they are always closed before dinner time. Finally tried it and enjoyed the food. Got spicy teriyaki. If you like saucy chicken (as opposed to more charred vibe) you'll like it. Price was great for the amount of food, it lasted me 2.5 meals! Spice level was good too. Would recommend if nearby. Hope they will consider staying open for dinner in future since there's not many good options for dinner in this area.

Walked into this place and no customers. It still took a few minutes for the ow ers to acknowledge me. I ordered the spicy chicken teriyaki and when I git it it was slathered in dressing. Not appetizing at all. Sent it back and got what I pictured, but not very tasty or spicy.

Run by a lovely old couple in Seattle. This place is unassuming but literally had the best spicy chicken teriyaki I have ever had in my life. So simple, not over the top, but exquisite. 10/10 would recommend.

Walked in during lunch time in a random work day. Plenty of seats. The space was spacious and spotless. The owner couple was very sweet and friendly. I ordered the spicy teriyaki chicken rice, yum! They put thoughts in simple food, the rice was well cooked, the salad was balanced with the dressing, the chicken was very tender and flavorful. Please support this awesome local cafe!
