Wescafe
1518 Webster St, Alameda, CA
Crema's Take
“Wescafe is a charming Alameda café housed in a converted train station, where locals gather for beautifully crafted drinks like their creamy matcha lattes alongside homemade pastries and surprisingly excellent food. The real magic happens in the garden seating out back—a peaceful, hidden gem of a space that feels worlds away from the Bay Area bustle, paired with genuinely warm staff who make you feel like a regular even on your first visit. Whether you're lingering over a specialty coffee, sharing a meal with family, or settling in for an afternoon, this place nails the complete café experience in a way that clearly keeps people coming back.”

Our favorite thing about the island is Wescafe. Excellent food, excellent service. The seating outside in the garden is really peaceful.
There is some outdoor seating in the front and back! The back area is absolutely stunning. The staff are very kind. They will be serving special drinks this upcoming Valentine’s Day.
AMBIANCE AMBIANCE AMBIANCE is beyond underrated. What a hidden gem in the Bay Area! Oh and their match latte was creamy. They also have wine and beer available at this cafe for those who prefer that over coffee 🤤 Such a great place to sit down, vibe out or study.
This is such a great place. It's design is so cute. Its a train station. It has ample seating for everyone. You always see the locals here. The food and pastries are home made. When visiting I always got moms oatmeal. I tried the chocate croissants and the cheese Danish, amazing. I tried their green monster drink. It is hethy and delicious. Everything is made when ordered so it is very fresh. The service is outstanding, some of the best customer service you can get these days. Overall rating is excellent!!
The staff are all so polite. The food is REALLY good. French fries 100% perfect. Seasoned perfectly, crunchy on the outside, soft on the inside. I recommend you choose the outdoor seating in the back because it's the most perfect seating area ever. I sat near the fountain, my shoes got wet but I was too focused on the food. First time we sat w/o talking. Went here a second time and the food just wasn't as good as before. Bacon was dry.
