Crema's Take

Tucked atop a winding road in Wailuku with breathtaking hilltop views and a cool ocean breeze, this spot feels like a rewarding escape after a long drive across the island. Their homemade banana bread is legendary (reviewers rave it's made with love), and they nail the casual comfort food pairing—whether it's a perfectly crispy grilled cheese, fries that'll have you obsessed, or a refreshing smoothie to match the views. It's the kind of place where the location, the genuine hospitality, and the thoughtful food all come together to make you want to linger.

Undeniably one of the most interesting spots to have your smoothie and grilled cheese as it was located in the middle of nowhere, but it had unbeatable views and cool hilltop breeze. We tried its pina colada and mango/lilikoi smoothies, both were refreshing and tasty. We also got some chicken nuggets, even though they were the frozen variety, but they were extra crispy, just the way I like them. The grilled cheese was also very well made. The proprietor was friendly and there were seats and tables behind this iconic trailer to enjoy our food and drinks. Highly recommended if you’ve made it this far. Drive slowly as there were single-lane sections going both ways.

Met today a young girl and her grandma today, they sold me banana bread which was delicous. And friend had fries (my friend was obsessed, they were nice and chispy) and 2 smoothies, payed 31$ for that. Everything was very good. If you pass definitely check it out. Maloha

What a cool spot. I would recommend you stop in if you're driving along the north end of the island. You'll also probably need a break if you've come from the west side because the road getting here was very tight - or you'll need a break if you're coming from the east side to prepare yourself for the road ahead. If you're coming from the east, you've driven through some tight roads already but the worst of it is coming up just around the corner from here. This is just a shipping container sitting on the side of the hill. Those with vertigo might feel a bit queezy but it's a great view. The food options were mostly hot dogs and burgers. I just ordered a mango smoothie and it was great. There were several flavor options for smoothies and they had sweet tea and lemonade as well. Bring cash!!

This place is all about location. Amazing views!!! Its on a top of a long curvy road. No matter what time of the day you reach, you would almost want to stop and find something to eat. This place has amazing views!!!! My family and I had Shrimp plate, Kalua Pork, Veggie Curry, Veggie Burger. Shrimp plate was really really good. Guess the shrimp was cooked with the shell on charcoal directly. It had a nice burnt flavor. When I visit again, will definitely order that. The Kahlua pork was bit bland for my taste. Not a fan. The Veggie curry had a lot of turmeric in it. It was okay. Veggie burger looked great but the patty was meh! Will try cheese burger next time. They also serve freshly squeezed lime juice. Was good especially on a hot sunny day. Overall a good experience. You don't have to drive down to this place, but if you are doing this drive definitely stop here.
