Hillcrest Little Bakery

Crema's Take
“Tucked into a charming renovated home in a quiet Hillcrest neighborhood, this spot serves seriously excellent coffee alongside breakfast that locals can't stop raving about—think fluffy-as-a-cloud biscuits and hollandaise sauce worth the trip alone. Owner Zara creates a genuinely warm atmosphere where custom cold foam flavors and thoughtful touches like wheelchair accessibility make everyone feel welcomed, and the blend of quality coffee (try the Midtown) with standout food like their famous Eggs Benedict has built a devoted following that keeps coming back.”

The best Eggs Benedict I’ve ever had. My coffee was amazing, I think it was called the midtown. I can’t wait to go back and try the hot chicken Benedict. It’s located in a renovated older home, and smells a bit like an older house. there’s only about 5 tables inside plus an outdoor patio, so prepare to probably sit outside during a peak time
they were so amazing the food was 10/10 hands down best hollandaise sauce ive ever tried and the service was so helpful and nice:) fyi they can make any cold foam flavor u want!!! excellent quality coffee too definitely recommend this place!
Absolutely loved this place! Great food, peach mimosa was delicious and super sweet staff. Zara, the owner, came over and chatted with us. I wish her more years of success, super sweet young lady! This is a great way to start your morning!
Hands down the BEST biscuits and gravy I’ve ever had in my life. The biscuits were fluffy perfection, the gravy was rich, creamy, and seasoned like it was sent straight from the heavens above and let’s not forget the star of the show, the crispy potatoes . Every single bite felt like comfort food on another level. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would—this is top-tier, melt-in-your-mouth goodness that everyone needs in their life I recommend the hot springs 10/10 !!!!!!! Also let’s not forget the Banana fosters coffee 🤤 if you haven’t gotten in your car to head to H.L.B what are you waiting for !? 11/18/25 went back got the same thing(hot springs) and it was still 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥The consistency here is outstanding!!!
Absolutely loved this little spot, nestled in a neighborhood with a cozy atmosphere. They have a side ramp which I appreciated do easy access for my mother that has difficulty with stairs. We were immediately greeted inside. I ordered the Fair Park pancakes that came with a side eggs and choice of meat. My mom got a sampler with eggs, 2 choices of meat, potatoes, and a biscuit with fresh fig jam. Delicious! I tried their Sunrise Matcha and OMG it couldn’t have been any better! It was mixed with orange juice and strawberry, topped with matcha. My mom had a latte she enjoyed. Definitely will be going back.
