First time visitor, environment, no line, a few people sitting at 8:00am. 20 mins for a coffee. Really? 20 mins with no line at 8 am?. So as we waited we saw people who ordered behind us get coffee. So not sure on their organizational process as they appear to focus on online orders. Good know, as we won’t be a returning customer.

Absolutely loved my visit to Philz Coffee! ☕️ The coffee was rich, smooth, and full of flavor — truly one of the best I’ve had. The muffin was soft, fresh, and perfectly sweet. A cozy spot with great vibes and friendly service. Highly recommend! 🌟

Philz coffee seems to always be busy. This location on 2nd Street in Belmont Shore, Long Beach is popular. We recently tried it and were pleasantly surprised with their specialty recipes. They offer you indoor & limited outdoor seating. Good stuff.

In general, Philz is a good stop for coffee. My concern is with buying their coffee to brew at home. The bags are nearly impossible to open! I finally just used a scissor and accepted that I would not be able to keep it fresh. The coffee tastes great at home, but the seal of the bag was a kill joy.

I loved this place! So bright and vibrant! The employees were plentiful and all were friendly. They had a separate service counter for call-in pickups and in-store orders which was nice. They have lots of vegan options including a fully plant powered breakfast sandwich made with Beyond Meat a sausage patty, Just Egg, and Daiya cheese on an English muffin. They also had a vegan cinammon sugar from Blue Star Donuts along with lots of non-dairy milk options. I was a happy camper!
