Crema's Take
“Huddy's is a spirited neighborhood gathering spot with a genuinely fun patio scene, live music, and a refreshing commitment to quality casual food that actually delivers—think crispy tots, fresh tacos that don't disappoint, and housemade sandwiches rather than the usual frozen bar fare. Whether you're catching Monday Night Football on their outdoor screens, taking advantage of happy hour pricing, or settling in for Taco Tuesday with friends, there's a warmth here that goes beyond typical bar hospitality, with attentive servers and an atmosphere that feels genuinely welcoming rather than transactional.”

We went to Huddy's to watch Monday Night Football. It wasn't crowded and we were quickly seated outside where they had a large TV showing the game. They were running Happy Hour prices until close that night, so we ordered a few cocktails and some fries. The atmosphere was quiet but fun, and our server was very attentive. We had a great time and if we ever return to Redondo Beach, we will definitely stop by again.
Visiting friends and this place was fantastic! The food was great (tots and grilled romaine salad with grilled chicken -ranch was delicious!) Drinks, live music and patio. Had a lot of fun on a Friday night catching up with friends.
The new Huddy's is great fresh update on Hudson House. They kept the food soooo good which has always been a hallmark.. no mediocre frozen bar food.. they put out some of the best casual sammies, tacos and burgers you will find in the area, and they have some great drinks and desserts to round out the experience. I had the opportunity to meet the owner and she was awesome. I had a mocktail and the tacos.. both hit the spot. The bartender Justin was also great. This is one of those spots that really defines a community and stand out from the crowd.. the vibe is welcoming and fun. Get down here.. for a drink or a bite or preferably both you will be a happy camper.
Went to Huddy’s for Taco Tuesday and left happy. The $1 tacos were juicy and flavorful—none of those dry, disappointing ones you usually get on deal nights. The kale salad was a surprise win, topped with what looked like fried couscous for a nice crunch. Spicy wings were messy in a good way, and the giblet fries were weird but tasty. Only downside: we were seated right next to the entrance by staff, which meant a constant flow of people walking past and the door swinging open. Kinda killed the vibe. Still, food was solid and I'd go again—just not in that seat.
Came in on a Friday night for drinks and dinner. Atmosphere is great, patio is fun, drinks were good and servers were lovely. Unfortunately food is an afterthought at this bar. The symbol on google for this place is the drink symbol, not the restaurant symbol and that should give it away. Food was bland, tater tots were undercooked and the fish tacos were small and lacking anything to really talk about. Real shame as the other reviews must be just for the drinks and the atmosphere, which I would say was great. Spend nearly $100 for 2 people and was disappointed. Go for the drinks and perhaps eat somewhere else.
