Coffee Central

Not for me... I got the dirty Chai. That is a chai latte with a shot of espresso. Personally, I did not care for it. Their chai is heavy on the cloves, which I don't like. Also, I thought it was extermely expensive. It was over $8 for a 16oz latte. I went back for a second drink and got a black dark roast coffee. The coffee was just okay, but again expensive. It was drip coffee and cost $3.75 before tax. Now on to the service. For those that don't read their website, they charge an almost 4% service fee to use a card for payment. Due to this, I did take cash with me. I tipped a dollar when I for the latte. When I went back for the coffee, my total was $4.13 for the coffee. I don't carry cash so I don't have much for change. I happen to have $0.62 in change in wallet, so one PENNY short of giving the girl exact change, not including tip. I went to put the $0.50 cents in the tip jar and take a penny to give the cashier exact change. The girl making of coffee snapped at me and said not to take money out the tip jar (which I do understand to some extent, but I was NOT taking money) and then I explained that I was putting money in as well. Had I given the casher the quarter, she would have given me $0.12 in change. That $0.12 plus the $0.37 in remaining change is a $0.49 cent tip. Putting in $0.50 and taking out a penny is still a $0.49 cent tip. Even after explaining, she was still snotty! She said "whatever" and then rolled her eyes at me. I understand the original comment that she made, but the attitude in which she said it was uncalled for. For me, I will not be back. The person that met there said the same. I would have said that even without the snotty service. That snotty comment without an appology after understanding what was really happening was just icing on the cake.

Love love love the hot honey avocado toast! The sourdough bread is sooo yummy and I added egg which balanced it out perfectly! The sweet and hot combo is perfect! Also love how they know my name, feels like home.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ My Go‑To Coffee Shop for Years — Always a Great Experience Coffee Central in Southaven has been one of my favorite places for a couple of years now, and they continue to impress me every single visit. They offer an amazing selection of specialty drinks, quality coffee, and fresh pastries and food that always taste like they were made with care. The atmosphere is consistently great — warm, inviting, and perfect whether you’re grabbing something quick or settling in for a while. I often bring my laptop and end up spending hours working here. Even when the shop is full, it never feels chaotic or distracting. Somehow, it stays peaceful enough for me to focus and get things done, which is rare to find in a busy coffee shop. The staff is friendly, the drinks are delicious, and the environment is one I genuinely enjoy being in. Coffee Central has become a staple in my routine, and I absolutely love them for creating a space that feels both productive and comforting. Highly recommend to anyone looking for great coffee, great vibes, and a place that truly gets it right.

Really nice little coffee spot with a relaxed vibe and friendly atmosphere. The place feels cozy without being cramped, and it’s perfect for sitting down with a good drink, getting a bit of work done, or just catching up with friends. The coffee is smooth and well-made, and you can tell they take pride in what they serve. Definitely one of those small gems that makes you want to come back.

CHILL! What a great place to grab coffee and meet someone. I met a potential client here the other day and it was my first time at this location. The barista was super friendly and quite knowledgeable based on some recommendations he gave the young man in front of me. I just had straight black coffee and it was delicious!! The vibe was cool and the place has a very casual feel. I look forward to going back.
