Dripolator

Been to numerous coffee places here in Asheville and thereabouts and have been let down every time until we found Dripolator. For a while Starbucks had become our go-to out of desperation, (due to my snobby coffee taste from living in Washington state,) but now that we’ve found Dripolator AND learned they have five locations it has easily become our regular stop for coffee. If you like coffee, then this is the stop.

For coffee snobs this is your spot. Absolutely fantastic espresso, not dark roasted, a real, actual medium roast espresso. Made my iced latté great, and the first good coffee I’ve had in this trip from Durham, NC, headed west to Nashville. The staff was great as well, knew the beans, the flavor notes, and even recommended a good bag for us to take with us (the Ethiopian single origin washed). Hope we can make it back here again one day.

It’s always amazing when they know your order and call you by name when you first walk in. I love this location and the employees. They are the absolute best and when I wanna try something new, Desiree is always quick to offer a delicious treat or concoction that they can whip up in a few minutes. I love all the Dripolator’s, but this one by far is my top-notch favorite

I couldn't be more happier with my visit. I am usually a pretty picky coffee drinker. I like the beans roasted a certain way. Well this place does it well!! You can tell the coffee is good quality just by how the crema held up in my cup all the way to the last sip! Look at that picture!!

I am visiting Asheville from NYC, and this coffee shop was not far from the retreat center where I am staying. Stumbling upon Dripolator became one of the highlights of my trip. I ordered an iced sticky toffee latte, and it easily ranks among the top three lattes I have had in my life. I have had coffee on every continent (except Antarctica lol), and this one truly stood out as an experience above most. The esthetic is absolutely lovely. It is open, clean, polished, and yet still warm and inviting. The baristas are helpful, informative, and genuinely kind. I'm telling you, it was so good I came back later in the day! Do not miss out on this gem!
