King Hall Coffee
400 Mrak Hall Dr, Davis, CA
Crema's Take
“King Hall Coffee is a quiet study haven embedded within UC Davis Law School, offering plenty of tucked-away nooks across multiple floors where students can settle in for serious work or collaborative study sessions. The basement and second-floor spaces feel like genuine hidden gems, complete with computer labs and lockers, making it ideal if you need a low-key spot to camp out with your laptop for hours. While the coffee itself stays traditional and straightforward, what really sets this spot apart is the peaceful, studious vibe—perfect for anyone seeking conversation-free concentration or focused meetups rather than bustling cafe energy.”

Google Reviews
UC Davis Law is a poor choice for anyone focused on making big money. It does not have the kind of placement power, prestige, or high-end outcomes that justify going there with serious financial ambitions. You can spend a huge amount of time, money, and energy and still end up far from the top-paying opportunities. For students chasing elite salaries, this school looks more disappointing than competitive.
T14 is a dream, here is a reality. please enjoy the moment.
It is better than Stanford and I am so grateful to meet some genius and they act like they are the best law in the world
Great atmosphere; lots of rooms on the second floor and in the basement where law students can study quietly (not loudly please!). The downstairs is a real hidden gem with a computer lab, lockers, and a kitchenette. There is food leftover from lunch events in the kitchenette sometimes. Great faculty. They really enjoy teaching.
