Crema's Take

Justice Java feels like an old-world escape tucked into Phoenix, where you can actually settle in for hours with reliable espresso drinks and stellar pastries while birds chirp just beyond the open patio doors. The staff genuinely remembers regulars and brings real warmth to every interaction, making it the kind of place where you don't just grab coffee—you actually become part of the community.

My job takes me all over the Valley, and each project I work on keeps me in the area for 3-6 months. So, I like to find a coffee shop to camp out at to work for a couple of hours a day. The coffee itself is a notch above most coffee shops. The gourmet coffee with a .25 refill is incomparable. The service can vary slightly depending on who's on duty, but it's always good. I want to give a particular shout-out to Pierce and Teya: Pierce for his patience and congeniality when I ramble on to him, and to Teya for her kindness and for reminding me to get my card punched every time. The burritos are pretty good, too!

The young lady who served me was friendly and energetic. Old world feel. A door wall opens and there are plenty of bird’s chirping .A great place away from business. I highly recommend it ☕️

Ordered an Iced Americano and I don’t think a shot got pulled? It came out within 50 seconds. Got a coffee that tasted like a teaspoon of ash was mixed in. I can tolerate Starbucks okay but I couldn’t finish a fifth of the drink. The barista was kind and was engaged in a lengthy “back in my day” conversation with an older gentleman.

Love this coffee shop! The staff is so friendly and is amazing at remembering their customers. The coffee is consistently good and the baked goods are amazing. The lavender latte is my personal favorite and all of their breads are fantastic. Skip Starbucks and buy local!!!

This place was so amazing! Emma is the cashier that helped us and she did a great job with answering any questions as well as giving recommendations. Other then that she was a great person to just have a conversation with and the rest of the customers around were very nice and seem to be enjoying their time as well.
