Saturday, December 2025: My husband and I stopped at Matilda Bakehouse for a coffee and snack. The staff were very friendly and the cafe is spacious. They had a variety of baked goods to choose from- we opted for the cinnamon roll and the seasonal danish. We also ordered a cappuccino and an americano. The baked goods we had were okay. We were disappointed they wouldn't heat up the cinnamon roll, the reason they gave us was because the frosting would run and be messy. So the cinnamon roll wasn't very enjoyable. I liked the filling on the seasonal danish but I asked for it heated up and it was served at room temp. The coffee was good- we both thought it was weak for our liking but it had good flavor. Also to note, this place is very family-friendly. When we were in, there were a lot of children and families enjoying the space. I would love to come back and try the monkey bread; they were sold out when we arrived this morning and we were told it's a top-seller.

I preordered a cake from Matilda Bakehouse for my mom's 70th birthday. A good bakery is far and few between these days - and a Pick and Save cake isn't really my jam. I pre-ordered a cake from Matida Bakehouse and everyone loved it and wanted to know where I got it. (I was in Indiana though!!). Thanks for making our occasion memorable (for the right reasons) you have a customer for many occasions to come.

Brick and Mortar location finally in Fox Point! Y’all, the potato and leek croissant was surprisingly delicious. The chocolate croissant is always good. Have to come back during the weekend for their supreme croissants. Don’t sleep on this one, and get there early for more options!

This place is amazing! Cute little bakery shop in the Fox Point area, in a little strip mall tucked away. Upon entry the staff greets you with warmth and smiles, the shop smells like heaven and everything is neatly arranged. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming. The staff has their favorite bakery items and we tried one of each and we were so impressed we came back the next day. We tried morning buns (of sorts), cinnamon rolls, sweet and savory danishes. The place has some of everything, and literally as I type I’m thinking of the cup of coffee and sticky bun I’m going to have after this 48 hour shift. Definitely try them out!

The place is exorbitant and there's not a whole lot of options for baked goods. I was expecting more options and breads. I got a chocolate chip cookie, which was okay, I didn't like the chocolate oval thing on it at all. Also got a ham and cheese croissant, which I thought would be given to me warm and wasn't so I came home, tucked it in the fridge and later threw it out. I'll try this place again in a couple months to see if their offerings have expanded. It's a nice looking place but I found it hard to find with cars in the parking spaces, it covers the signage. It's directly to the right of Lakeshore dentistry.
