Crema's Take

This Doral café captures the heart of Cuban coffee culture with a genuine specialty in café con leche and traditional pastries like empanadas and pan de bono that keep locals coming back. While service can be inconsistent—some customers praise the warmth and helpfulness while others note gaps in attention—the coffee itself and the authentic variety of Cuban and Venezuelan pastries make it worth a visit for those seeking the real deal. It's a quick grab spot with soul, best experienced when you catch them on a good day and settle in for a proper cortadito and something freshly baked.

I went there for a quick cafe con leche. I felt like I was ignored at first. At least acknowledge that I’m there and say I’ll be right with you or something while you finish what you’re doing. Now the coffee wasn’t bad. It was good but not worth $6 in my opinion. I asked for a small cafe con leche and she said it cost $5.50. I gave her $6 and never got back my change. Yeah it’s just 50 cents but it’s unprofessional and rude to just assume it’s ok to stay with the change. That will be my first and last time I go there.

Awful experience. First, the cashier (ines) gets the order wrong. When it was brought to her attention, she was defensive and rude. While the coffee was acceptable, the service is lacking. I will not be coming back.

The best Cuban coffee and Pan de bono in Hialeah can be found at this gem! The customer service is always excellent. The variety of pastelitos, empanadas and Venezuelan pastry’s is abundant. My favorite is the Argentinian empanada with ham and cheese!
