Cream + Sugar Coffeehouse
3546 Montgomery Rd, Cincinnati, OH
Crema's Take
“This Cincinnati gem draws you in with genuinely warm service and a cozy atmosphere that's equally suited for lingering over a latte with friends or settling in for focused work. Their signature creative drinks and thoughtfully made pastries keep regulars coming back, though the limited menu and occasional wait times reflect their small-but-mighty operation. It's the kind of place where the staff actually remembers you and makes you feel like part of the community from your first visit.”

I recently went to Cream + Sugar for the first time. The customer service was excellent! The ladies working were friendly, welcoming, and very helpful. I tried their coffee and pastries and both are delicious. If you haven’t been to Cream + Sugar Coffeehouse- you should treat yourself and check it out.
Sugar and Cream in Evanston is such a gem! I’m here for SAIGE’s Happier Hour and this cute Black-owned coffee shop has the warmest, most inviting atmosphere. Simone is AMAZING—so welcoming and attentive—and the coffee is soooo good. You can truly feel the community-based vibe the moment you walk in. Highly recommend!
There was only one person to do all the work & it took us 10 min. To get our coffees & 20 min. To get our waffle. I asked for a sweet Carmel coffee for I wasn't sure which one to get on their limited menu. It was very tart. My queens coffee was strong, sweet but she enjoyed hers. Definitely a small amount of coffee for the price you pay. The waffle was good from what she told me. Said it was fluffy. Personally though I know I could of made one even better at home...
Conclusion -Cool environment, nice for sort term solo studying/ remote working. Also ideal for meeting up with a friend, with leaning toward Lattes as drink of choice.(Ex. Vanilla Latte). This is an easy place to grab coffee. You can pull up right outside, and get in and out relatively quick. For full Review check us out on Instagram and Tiktok. @Hunitng_Coffee
Let me tell y’all, this place is a solid 5 stars all around! I’m from Michigan and was visiting Cincinnati when I searched for a few local coffee shops. Something drew me to this one, and I’m so glad I followed that instinct! I’m pretty sure the amazing woman running the shop was the owner, and she’s Black, which made me even more excited because I love supporting small Black-owned businesses (wish more reviews had mentioned that!). I started with a cold brew (simple coffee lover here!) and avocado toast, both delicious. Then I went back for the banana and peanut butter toast—another 10/10. But what truly stood out was the owner herself. She was holding it down solo on a busy Saturday morning after two staff call-offs, and still made the effort to communicate with every customer, apologize for delays, and keep things moving with grace. If you’re ever in the Cincy area, this spot is a must try. Great food, great coffee, and an even better vibe. I’ll definitely be back!
