Buongiorno Gelateria 1972

My boyfriend & I were looking for an open cafe downtown around 8pm. As soon as we walked in, it was already so pretty & clean, & we were greeted by some kind faces. It wasn’t busy. Lucas was the one who made our order. He was very nice & funny & even had a little conversation with my bf before we left. We both loved our gelato! All the samples we tried were super good even if they weren’t my personal favorite. The atmosphere was so elegant & cozy. The energy was even better. 10/10 overall experience! & I love that they’re open late :D

I ordered a medium takeaway with 3 flavors. Each one was distinct and perfectly made—creamy, full of authentic flavor, and clearly crafted with care. But the gelato was only half the delight! The staff were incredibly warm and welcoming, offering great recommendations with genuine smiles. The hospitality here is top-notch; they make you feel like a regular from the very first visit. Wonderful food, very nice staff, and a lovely atmosphere.

My family and I always go here. The products are always fresh, the staff are always polite and friendly, and the store is always clean. It's a perfect place to go with your family. They also make ice cream cakes for special occasions. My favorites are Dubai chocolate, mango, and strawberry.

My daughter was adamant about writing a review. Her POV “When I went in, a male employee greeted me with a warm smile. My family ordered and when I got mine he was really kind and made my night. I tipped him and he said I was the nice one. Their ice cream was really good. I recommend coming to this gelato shop.” Their gelato was rich and delicious. The staff was energetic, friendly and catering. I loved their energy. They brought joy to people especially my girls. The shop had little ice creams throughout their glass windows that my 2 year old loved. My favorite was their hazelnut affogato with pistachio toppings. We will definately visit again next time we visit New York!

If I could do 4.5 stars, I would. Cute little shop. I personally didn't try the Gelatos due to being diabetic; but my kids and hubby love it! I did take a bite of the cannoli and it was yummy. The crust/shell was still crunchy and not soggy at all and the filling was so good. Reason, I gave it 4 stars, despite the line formation employees didn't enforce it while the store was busy. Other parents fitting a stroller (let alone a double) was ridiculous because it blocked the whole entrance.
