SC Cafe & Kid City Entrance

Crema's Take
“This unique cafe sits right at the entrance to a massive free indoor play facility housed in a church, making it the rare spot where parents can actually relax with quality coffee while keeping a watchful eye on kids burning off energy. The vibe here is genuinely community-minded and family-focused, with visitors consistently praising the cleanliness, safety, and sheer size of the play area—perfect for breaking up road trips or hosting birthday celebrations. Fair warning: some reviewers mention ventilation issues in the play space, so it's worth timing your visit during less crowded hours if you're sensitive to that.”

Amazing for a church to have such a HUGE indoor play place that they allow the public to use for FREE.
It was a wonderful indoor park to take The kiddos . I love that it was clean and you're able to sit down and watch them play, they offer a cafe With a variety of options from snacks to drinks and even ice cream, I sat and had a slushy while I was there. Also do indoor birthday parties With the option of a movie which is a beautiful theater room I can't wait to book with them. The girl that was working at the cafe did a great job explaining and answering all questions. Overall I really enjoyed the cleanliness of the park, the cafe, the bathrooms, and the atmosphere that it is for kids.
I was so happy to find this place on our way home from a long road trip. It made the perfect rest stop where the kids could run and play endlessly on the playscape while the adults enjoyed the quiet cafe with tasty coffee drinks. What a great place for the local community to enjoy. It is inside a church, but there's a big SC Cafe sign on the building letting you know you're in the right place. Ample parking available. The indoor playground was recently remodeled and reopened at the end of 2024. It is in great condition and HUGE! There is lots of space for the kids to run and climb and play, and lots of obstacles to explore. The playground is enclosed with glass walls, so the happy screams of the children are contained in the playground area. And it is FREE to play, no charge for the playground. The coffee shop is relaxing, with a nice atmosphere. There's a big screen with worship music going in the background. The staff is very kind and accommodating. We had a few special requests, and they went out of their way to help us. The dark chocolate mocha tasted great, and they had a non dairy option for the milk (nut pods). And the drinks were very reasonably priced, which was another plus. If we lived in Shreveport, we would definitely visit here often! We will return again next time we pass through. It is worth a stop, especially if you have kids!
There needs to be better airflow in the play area. It smells horrible in there. Not clean. Some of the equipment on the swinging tunnel is loose and isn’t secure. Not safe for kids
Great place to bring the kids. My son was invited to a birthday party here. The play area looked very safe yet was extremely fun according to my son. The game area had lots to do also. He loved it and is asking to have good birthday here also.
