Crema's Take

Tucked into a bright, high-ceilinged corner of Chicago, this spot has mastered the art of the creative coffee drink, with their famous crème brûlée latte and an impressive roster of over 10 homemade syrups that elevate every order. The welcoming staff moves with genuine warmth and efficiency, making it equally suited for a quick caffeine fix or settling in for hours with a laptop, and their pastries—especially the almond pistachio croissant and house bread—pair perfectly with whatever you're drinking. Free street parking and a nearby bus stop make it genuinely convenient, but what keeps people coming back is that rare combination of distinctive flavors, cozy energy, and the feeling that someone actually cares about what lands in your cup.

Highly recommend their crème brûlée latte & honey chicken sandwich! Service was sweet and welcoming. Simple and cozy interior, perfect place to get some studying or work done or catching up with a friend.

Loved everything we ordered here! They have a list of 10+ homemade syrups that are delicious! We got the gingerbread seasonal latte which wasn’t too sweet and a great amount of spice. They also use a chai concentrate that is awesome- we got a hot dirty chai that was one of the best I’ve had in the area. Seating is a bit uncomfortable (ex. Tiny stools) but a decent amount of it for a chicago coffee shop. Didnt try the breakfast sandwiches but they looked popular! Def recommend you stop by!

Great, fast service and good prices. We got the creme brulee latte and coco matcha and were very happy with both! The muffins were fine but nothing special, I wish I had tried the house bread!

It’s such a cute spot! There’s free parking on the street around the corner and a bus stop nearby which makes it easy. It’s got high ceilings which makes the corner feel bigger. The coffee was unique and a good pick me up in the morning! I tried the gluten free strawberry muffin and it was great! They have a nice seasonal menu too. Overall a great spot!

Stopped by The Cuptown for a coffee and something sweet, and the staff recommended the almond and pistachio cream croissant. Honestly, it was amazing, super flaky on the outside and soft inside, with a really nice texture. The coffee was incredible too, and the service was honestly one of the best I've had in a while. Definitely coming back!
