The Stray

Crema's Take
“The Stray strikes that rare balance of being a serious espresso destination with a genuinely creative spirit—you'll find thoughtfully crafted signature drinks alongside traditionally excellent coffee, all served in a calm, artistic space that feels equally welcoming whether you're settling in for hours with a friend or stealing a focused work session. Their kitchen goes beyond typical café fare with standouts like their pumpkin-apple-bacon soup and house-made pastries, while the curated local art and generous seating options make this feel like a neighborhood gathering spot rather than just a caffeine stop.”

This is a hidden treasure! Walking in the vibe was grounded in calm & there was creative juice that I could feel pulsing within reach. Seriously- great space, the coffee & breakfast sandwich was delicious. Looking forward to trying lunch & catching a show in the evening.
Really cute place! Lovely atmosphere, lots of seating, great coffee and a good sandwich with gluten-free bun. Met a friend here and we had two leisurely hours of great conversation - no problem hearing each other. If I lived around here, I would frequent this place! My friend does!! They have music regularly and had someone selling and making handcrafted ornaments. Clean bathrooms, plenty of parking, lots of local artists work available on site. I loved it and would definitely come again!!
Great ambience. This is a great place to work or visit with friends. There is also a nice variety of seating. Prices are reasonable. The scone I had was delicious. The brewed coffee was a little on the bitter side--good as long as it had food to go with it.
Absolutely delicious and unique fare! The pumpkin/apple/bacon soup is over the top delish!! Love the atmosphere and goods made by local artists.
Delicious chili, delicious iced lattes. Tried both the vanilla mint iced latte, and the salted caramel iced lattes. Super yummy! Service is really nice, and was especially good the first time I was here — although I did not catch the baristas name, he was very informative and kind :) As a studying space, I would highly recommend with a lot of comfy seating and space. Since it is such a vast space you may have trouble finding an open outlet if needed. My friend was not a fan of the iced matcha latte, but this could be personal preference, as she said it did not taste strong enough. Love all the art sold, and the magnet wall! This is a space for creatives 🫶🏼
