I've been going to Bean's coffee for years now! The owner is always super friendly and knows myself and many of her regulars by name. She cares very deeply about her customers and community, providing an amazing safe space for many. Her shop also hosts amazing mini community events and works closely with Davis Pride. All of the Baked goods are homemade and delicious! The cupcakes and cake pops are a favorite of mine. The specialty lattes are always a hit and keep me coming back for more. I highly recommend checking out this little place and giving it a try! Shop local and support small businesses!!!
I saw this place was woman and veteran owned. I wanted to support local, woman, and veteran owned business. The coffee has always been delicious. The staff has always been friendly and professional. The owner has done fundraising for the little girl who was run over at the car wash in Layton, free breakfast for snap recipients that lost funding, friendsgiving for anyone who didn't have a place to go (for free), a toy drive for kids for Christmas, a Christmas Dinner ( free) for anyone who didn't have anywhere to go. She also is an ally for the LGBTQ + community, and has a meet up for them once a month. She served our country, gives generously to the community, is in inclusive, and supportive, of marginalized communities, and serves a hell of a cup of coffee. If you are interested in supporting a local business that enriches and gives back to the community, I highly recommend Bean's Coffee in Clearfield.
This place is actually called Something Wicked Coffee, so if you're confused on the name, that's why. An absolutely delightful energy inside, with awesome food to match. There's art all over (including an incredible looking giant tree sculpture!), tarot cards for sale, cool locally designed stickers, and unapologetically inclusive vibes. On top of that, it's woman and veteran owned, and the owner herself is often working the counter. Almost every person who came in while I was there seemed to be a loyal repeat customer who was greeted by name. I never would have guessed there was a place in this area that could make me feel so inherently welcome just upon walking in, but I'm glad to have been proven wrong. I believe one of the first things I said when I got to the counter was that I was shocked as a person who moved from out of state to be able to feel so at home somewhere. I got the quiche based on the owner's recommendation, and it was excellent! I believe they make a ton of their offerings in house, including grinding their own coffee beans fresh. If you are in the area and struggling to find anywhere that feels like it would welcome your whole self, I'd highly recommend stopping in.
I very much enjoy this place. I had the Twix latte and it was delicious, and there's about 100 more flavors to try. I've been looking for an independent coffee shop near me for a while and this definitely fits that bill. Women and military veteran owned and operated. Definitely plan on becoming a regular customer here. **I find it convenient that all the people who thought the coffee was gross and gave a low review also had differently aligned political views. Curious.**
Amazing spooky, witchy atmosphere-a wonderful place to go during fall or anytime you are missing the Halloween season (which for me is all the time when it’s not Halloween). Owner is so kind and lovely to talk to, adorable merchandise/sticker options. Loved the themed coffees and the adorable toppers! Highly recommend!
