Topanga Living Cafe

Rough experience today. The barista/cashier was incredibly rude and refused to acknowledge us. Finally when he was ready to take our order, he just stood at the register and stared at us. Seating is limited because this place is INFESTED with teleworkers occupying tables. This gives a fast-food/Starbucks vibe, rather than a premium independent cafe. The food we ordered took a long time to come out and when it did it was ice cold. The flavors were there and we inhaled it because we were starving, however for $55 I’d like our food to be served warm and with reasonably decent service from the cashier.

It's hard to put into words how good this place is, so I'll just share some observations and facts. The vibe is very conducive for socializing, getting work done or getting a touch of nature. The food is expertly cooked, prepared and most importantly is clean (my egg was perfectly over-medium). I've eaten here countless times and the consistency of the quality is shocking in the best way. Lastly, I've never seen cleaner bus bins in my life -- it's hard to find even one scrap of food left on customers plates. An absolute homerun of a spot.

Visiting from NY. I stopped here for breakfast. I got an iced latte and a bacon egg and cheese wrap w/ avocado and potato. The latte was great the food was okay. I sat outside, there is beautiful seating you feel like you are in the trees. It's very peaceful I loved it.

Great vibes here. Lattes and smoothies pretty and delicious. Beautiful aesthetic and pistachio pastries amazing.

Amazing cafe in the middle of topanga canyon road from ventura blvd to santa monica beach! Pretty nice cafe with several fresh and high quality dishes including vegetarian and vegan and non-vegan dishes. Salads, pastries and more! Incredible view and atmosphere. Toward higher prices and I highly recommend all their specialty drinks iced or hot!
