Crema's Take
“This Mediterranean quick-service spot in Brooklyn delivers affordable, craveable wraps and bowls with genuinely friendly staff who seem to actually care about getting orders right. While consistency can be hit-or-miss (especially later in the day), regulars swear by their food quality and keep coming back, making it a solid neighborhood favorite for a quick, satisfying meal rather than a fussy coffee destination.”

Food took forever, then when it was served it was the most incoherent slop I’ve ever had. I was there a bit late so maybe they ran out of ingredients but my shawarma was basically just hummus and really old fries that didn’t even look like fries. It was pretty disgusting. Added one star back because the people were nice but literally worst meal I’ve had in NYC.
I got two different wraps, one for me and one for my husband. It was supper easy to order and the staff was friendly and quick. The wraps they sell are pretty affordable for what you’re getting (it was called a Lavash). Anyway, it was really tasty! I got one chicken and one beef/lamb mix. Also, I liked that the place seemed clean as a lot of fast food type places seem like they may have just cleaned up when they knew the health inspector was coming. I will be ordering it again.
I usually don’t write reviews, but I am making an exception for this one just because the guy working there was super kind and respectful about the situation. My friend made a togo pickup on the app and we waited about 15 minutes for his food, and he still didn’t get it, so he went up to the counter just to find out that his order was already ready, the guy working there apologized and explained that he didn’t put it on the pick up shelf because people would usually go in and grab the bag( they probably though that way because when we entered my togo bag was on the shelf, so I grabbed it). He also gave my friend a free drink to compensate for it. I really loved how he handled the situation and was very apologetic about it, so it felt less uncomfortable eating inside the store. Aside from this the food tasted amazing and the portion size was filling.
Hope they read their reviews - great food. Been eating their food since they were just one shop in west village. Always good. But now that they are a big chain all over the city, they always change their menu, remove items and options to reduce the value of their meals. Wish they would stop being so cheap and give us a nice plate of food at a reasonable price. 15 dollar falafel is a joke. Throw some hummus on there for free Jesus. Good food but I can’t stand being taken advantage of and upcharged for every little thing, or items that were included being removed for the same price, smaller portions, etc. so they may lose a customer soon. Used to get four sauce options…now only three. I mean come on. Give us the four sauces. They have been in business forever. Figure out the menu and leave it so your return customers know what to expect. If you ordered from here before and are planning to do it again-don’t expect the same thing.
Food is good but for some reason when you order online, they upcharge by $3 per entree. If you purchase in store on their kiosks, it's a lot cheaper. Also they've screwed up my order before and left out falafels, so I would double check your order before leaving if you're doing pickup. See the menu photos for price difference. Even the premium toppings have an upcharge online.
