Crema's Take

Tucked in Traverse City, this café has earned devoted fans who return again and again, drawn equally to their thoughtfully sourced coffee and their standout pastries and sandwiches—particularly their gluten-free options that the staff takes real care with. The space itself strikes that rare balance between cozy enough for lingering over a seasonal spiced latte and efficient enough for a quick grab, with a cool vibe and genuinely friendly service that makes everyone feel welcomed. Whether you're stopping in for a flaky croissant, a creative sandwich, or just excellent coffee, this is the kind of neighborhood spot that justifies the repeat visits.

They had the BEST gluten-free chicken salad sandwich I have had in a long time. Udi's bun, they were really great with my questions. Even let me see the ingredients. The coffee was also delicious. And flourless PB cookies too!! Great find on our vacation.

The autumn spiced latte was delicious, and so was the chocolate croissant! This place was also super cute.

Great lunch spot in Northport. We put in a pickup order for a handful of sandwiches, and everything was prepared perfectly. The sandwiches themselves were great, no complaints at all! I do see why this place is so popular in the area. Recommended without hesitation!

We ate here 3 times during our 3 day stay in Northport. It was that good. The croissant breakfast sandwich was warm and melty and the mustard gave it a nice flavorful taste. Very filling! Had it for breakfast twice. We also got the Italian sandwich and the corned beef sandwich on our way out of town. Would have ordered a couple extras to take home if I had known they would be that good. The hot Chocolate is made with milk (not water which is rare) and so delicious. The staff was friendly, efficient, and welcoming. Definitely a reliable place for casual meals while in Northport.
