Crema's Take
“This beloved local institution serves generously-sized bagels that inspire genuine loyalty from Santa Cruz regulars, with standout creations like the Pink Flamingo (salmon and cream cheese on a toasted everything bagel) that have earned devoted repeat customers over the years. The friendly, hardworking staff and casual vibe make it the perfect spot to grab fresh bagels and pastries before heading to the beach, where the real magic happens—enjoying your breakfast with ocean views and cool morning air. Whether you're a skeptic or a believer, The Bagelry has clearly struck a chord as a genuine community gathering place where quality ingredients and genuine hospitality matter more than expansion.”

Unbelievably overrated by Santa Cruz locals who have never known or tried another bagel. These are the size of a dinner roll, and just meh (if I’m being honest). No wonder they’ve never expanded beyond SC.
Great Prices and Delicious Bagels
The Bagelry has been a family tradition for years. We always grab bagels on our way to the beach and enjoy them while we listen to the waves in the beautiful cool mornings. While the bagels are always delicious, the new bagel size is simply ridiculous. Please consider a price increase and not selling mini bagels. I wish I could share a picture that shows the old bagel size next to the new one. Shrinkflation is sadly real - even in our favorite local shops. And the chai is also a must!
very nice bagel place with hard working and very friendly employees.I come here very often and get their pink flamingo which is salmon mixed in with cream cheese on a toasted everything bagel with red onions. The place is kept clean. There is street parking and they have a small parking lot. I recomend
I've eaten a lot of bagels in my 35 years of life and it's not just that I'm born in Santa Cruz that Im a fan of the bagelry, It's because they really do have the best bagels I've ever had. I know that it really comes to personal preference when it comes to things like this. I promise if you haven't tried the bagelry give it a try
