5th Ave Bagelry
247 Pine Ave, Long Beach, CA
Crema's Take
“5th Ave Bagelry is a straightforward neighborhood spot in downtown Long Beach that takes their bagels seriously, with reviewers raving about perfectly toasted bagels and generous cream cheese applications, though the pricing skews high for what you get. Beyond the bagels themselves, they offer a welcoming mix of fresh-squeezed juices, Vietnamese coffee, and cappuccinos in a small, unpretentious space with both indoor and outdoor seating that works equally well for a quick solo breakfast or lingering with friends. Service moves fast and the vibe is genuinely friendly, making it a reliable go-to in the LA area if you're willing to pay a bit more for quality ingredients and care in execution.”

Its nice but overpriced to be honest I had the LOX bagel which was salmon bagel My bill was 18usd no drink, nothing else !
Hands down best bagels in all of LA area. Perfectly toasted. Perfect amount of cream cheese (always a generous amount). Fresh squeezed orange juice and Fiji water. Occasionally get the vietnamese coffee for a good kick in the behind to start the day. Definitely recommend for a great breakfast spot as they open at 6am on the minute. Thanks 5th ave! :)
I began my day with a capuccino, and I have never given a bad capuccino review before. I guess there is a first time for everything! I had the bagel with luxe and cream cheese and the works here multiple times. It is decent, but their capuccino is the worst I have ever had. It's like old fashioned Ch8nese medicine [boiled for hours, BITTER]. Goodness! How does anyone 🤔 make this concoction????? Now you stay away from the capuccino!!
Friendly fast service. Tables inside and outside. Downtown area. Freshly made food and drinks. Good quality and delicious.
Small and simple bagel shop with so many bagel options! Service was fast and friendly . I had the lox, cream cheese, onions and capers on the jalapeño cheese bagel. Was absolutely delicious! I didn’t find the jalapeño in the bagel to be spicy at all but it was a nice taste :) Will definitely go back
