India House Restaurant

I’ve been coming to India House in Buena Park for a while now and honestly it never disappoints. The chana masala is always packed with flavor and just hits every time. The sauce is rich, super flavorful, and you can really taste all the spices without it being too much. Everything is cooked really well and the meat is always tender, never dry. What I like most is how consistent it is. No matter if I eat there or get it to go, it tastes the same every single time. You don’t get those off days where it feels rushed or bland. It’s just good, every time. You can tell they actually care about what they’re putting out. The rest of the food is great too. Naan is fresh and soft, the curries are solid, and everything just feels homemade. The staff is nice and welcoming and the vibe is chill. India House is one of those spots you keep going back to because you know it’s gonna be good. If you’re craving Indian food and want something you can rely on, this place is it.

Used to be one of my favorite restaurants. Their portions have gone smaller every year. Now their dishes come with barely 4-5 small bits of meat. Sad for the price. Food still tastes good which they go back to the reasonable portions they used to serve.

My first time trying Indian food and this restaurant, the food is freshly made and absolutely delicious. I got the butter chicken with garlic nan bread. Khamal was super attentive, sweet, and overall made the experience 20times better. He even gave us a free dessert since we had been waiting for our Togo order. Definitely coming back.

I love this place. Out of all the Indian food places I've tried this has been my favorite. Amazing service. One thing I will say is that the takeout portions (specifically the meat) are little small for my liking (maybe it is different for dining in and I understand that). I'm the sure though, after seeing this feedback they would try their best to change this. Even still I would come back and recommend.

Fantastic food. carry out / takeout only, also they do have delivery options. We got the chicken curry mild and the lamb curry medium spice. As well as an order of original naan bread. Both dishes come with a side of rice, so you don't need to order it. The lamb was savory with just the right amount of spicy, and the chicken curry is such a delightful flavor It is easily in the top three of "the best ways" to prepare chicken. Truly, Everything is wonderful. From The service to the food. The only thing I truly miss though is being able to dine in this wonderful little restaurant. Yet I respect their decision for the change and they seem to have adapted quite well. They make up for it with their hospitality and their accommodating attitude. Providing utensils and plates, even waters while you wait. For when you need a good regular place for delicious Indian food in Orange county This is your spot. I suggest ordering ahead of time by phone or online. Though you can walk in and place your order for carry out just as easily.
