Foko

Crema's Take
“Foko is a beloved breakfast destination where the magic happens in the details—homemade corn tortillas, from-scratch chilaquiles, and breakfast tacos that have even skeptical Californians raving. The space strikes that perfect balance between a quick caffeine-and-pastry stop and a lingering, family-friendly spot where the service feels genuinely warm and the food tastes like someone actually cares. Whether you're grabbing a mimosa to nurse a hangover or settling in for a full spread of biscuits and gravy, tres leches, and strawberry pancakes, this is clearly Louisville's go-to place for breakfast that feels both comforting and special.”

FOKO is one of my GO TO breakfast spots in Louisville. The service is friendly, the food is always fresh and good and the vibes are always sweet. Although I’ve tried many things on the menu I tend to stick with the same breakfast order- Sopes with scrambled eggs and real cheese, a Cortado with oat milk, and a Juego de Amor. It’s simple, not too much food so I don’t leave feeling sluggish. It really is a perfect start to my day. If you haven’t been yet, go. You won’t regret it.
Just touched down in Louisville, and wanted something local. This place is hands down one of the best breakfasts we’ve had. Biscuits and gravy meal, breakfast tacos, tres leches and strawberry pancakes. 10/10, no notes. Flat whites are awesome too. Really nice people too! Really cute place. Thanks for making the start of our trip strong.
Another spot you have to try if you’re visiting Louisville. When I read the reviews and saw they had Chilaquiles for breakfast, I knew I had to come. The Chilaquiles aren’t traditional, but they’re really good. I’ll definitely be back :)
What a great breakfast place. The food was amazing! The homemade corn tortillas were the best I've ever had.
Life changing breakfast tacos. As a Californian, I was dubious of Mexican food in Kentucky, but this did not disappoint. The homemade tortillas were excellent. I was wickedly hungover and got a mimosa and coffee to ease my pain. Don’t skip Foko!
