Crema's Take

This cozy Costa Mesa corner spot has mastered the art of making espresso drinks feel special, with creative house signatures like the honey-cinnamon Jason latte and seasonal treats like the Nutcracker that locals genuinely look forward to ordering. The vibe is genuinely welcoming—staff who actually care shine through, and if you stay in to linger over your coffee, they'll serve it in a proper mug that makes the experience feel intentional and unhurried. Just maybe skip the to-go cup and embrace the slow sit culture they've cultivated, because that's where this place really shines.

Not happy. I drove there for their delicious pastries, but they were still in the oven even though the shop was already open! If you open to the public, you should be ready to serve them, in my opinion. Their coffee is good though

DO NOT WEAR WHITE CLOTHES!! Their coffee is fine, but their plastic lids for hot drinks are shoddy and spill everywhere. They must have a deal with the nearby Target to sell stain removal products because their lids are purposefully designed to spill coffee all over your nice white shirt. Consider bringing a bib or backup change of shirt.

Always happy with the coffee and service here. Favorite is the Jason latte, honey and cinnamon. Simply beautiful. And they serve it in a lovely mug if you’re staying in and ask. I avoid those to-go cups as much as possible, so this option is top-tier. Not overly sweet and gimmicky, just a legit cup of coffee. 🙌

The Caffeine Club in Costa Mesa is such a vibe—clean, cozy, and always welcoming. The staff are super friendly and seem to genuinely love what they do. I grabbed an iced Einspänner with cold foam, and it was perfectly smooth, balanced, and just sweet enough. Easily one of my new favorite coffee spots!

This was a recommendation from Yelp, so I decided to stop by and I ordered the Nutcracker, it’s a warm and nutty treat with pecan praline paste, and caramel. It’s a holiday hug in a cup. Its a corner shop, so they capitalize on the outside seating, to compensate for the inside seating. Nice and cozy place, very chill vibes. The barista was friendly and even decoded to make my drink a little stronger. Loved this place and would come back when I’m in the area.
