Crema's Take
“Pacific Crest's espresso is genuinely exceptional—they're pulling light roast shots that are bold and smooth rather than acidic, which clearly resonates with people who actually care about their espresso. The mountain location (with a forest walk-up vibe and convenient access to the slopes) makes it feel like a locals' spot despite the 4.8 rating, and regulars rave about house-made syrups like honey lavender that elevate even simple drinks without overshadowing the coffee itself.”
What to expect
Espresso-focused, with a pour-over program. A quick-grab spot, outdoor seating. Pastries on the menu.

See all on Google →Had no idea this place was back here, but I'm glad I checked it out! I hate acidic coffee and really need my espresso to be bold and smooth, and my iced latte was really nice. I also tried their cheesecake bites, and I was a fan. Staff was friendly too! Will be coming back. :]
I love walking down to this place through the forest in the morning — it’s the perfect start to the day. Or you can stop by on your way to the slopes. The coffee drinks are always good, and if you’re feeling adventurous, try the Mochagandha or the Quattro Fungi. They also offer…
The best coffee I've ever had. I don't know what magic they are doing to create their drinks, but it's working. I get a honey lavendar oat milk iced latte every time I go. The flavors of the syrup and milk are blended perfectly with the espresso. You can taste the flavor of the…
Best espresso in town. We go to the camper in Tahoe City (corner of Grove and N Lake). For the espresso aficionados they use a light roast for their shots! Can’t say enough. Our go to when in town.
Good coffee for a good price. They didn’t have any specialty coffee drinks when we were there which was disappointing but when they made my drink incorrect from being a little busy the staff was really friendly and made me a new one quick.
Love the little Pacific Crest van in Tahoe City! So glad it’s here - by far, the best coffee in the area. Looking forward to them adding vegan pastry options :)

Great cappuccino in an off the beaten path location. The location itself in an industrial part of town means it isn’t going to get the tourist traffic, but that means it needs to survive on great coffee. Lighter roast espresso for sure, but full of flavor. I didn’t try the…
