Round House Cafe

Golden Gate Bridge Plaza, Sausalito, CA

★★★★4.2(282 Google reviews)

Crema's Take

Perched near the Golden Gate Bridge in Sausalito, this espresso-focused cafe crafts fantastic shots that locals recommend pairing with their sparkling water—a simple but telling detail about their attention to detail. The outdoor seating offers stunning views worth the inevitable weekend crowds, though be prepared that space fills up quickly, especially when it rains and people crowd inside. Fresh, thoughtfully-made food like their standout avocado toast pairs well with the coffee, making it a genuine brunch destination rather than just a caffeine pit stop.

Great coffee, I went while raining and its quite packed inside by tourists, especially on the weekend, so I was outside, but me and my girlfriend were fine with the wait. (25 minutes) Good coffee and great atmosphere outside, and a great view of the Golden Gate Bridge, that was worth even waiting in the rain.

Whether you’re a local or just visiting for the day, Round House will be a great experience. Their espresso is fantastic… make sure to get your sparking water with it. Their avocado toast is the best I’ve ever had. Plus the view!! You won’t regret making the trek here. Staff was awesome too!

I visited Round House Cafe in San Francisco and loved it! I tried the avocado toast, and it was really fresh and flavorful. The place is perfect for brunch, and the view of the Golden Gate Bridge makes the experience even better. A great spot to relax, enjoy good food, and take in the iconic scenery. Highly recommend!

Stopped by Round Cafe near the Golden Gate and ordered the pesto panini and coffee. The sitting area is very limited, so we ended up eating in the car — something to keep in mind if you’re planning to dine in. That said, the pesto panini was absolutely delicious: fresh, warm, and full of flavor. The coffee was also surprisingly good — smooth, strong, and well-made. Even without proper seating, the food and coffee made the stop worth it. Great option for a quick, tasty takeaway near the bridge.

Right next to the Golden Gate Bridge, this cafe is perfect for enjoying the view and taking photos. They have a variety of pastries and plenty of drink options. A lot of people were ordering the matcha tea, so I was curious about it, but I ended up getting the shakerato instead.
