Teofilo Coffee
5668 2nd St, Long Beach, CA
Crema's Take
“Teofilo Coffee is a hidden gem on Long Beach's Naples Island that finally brings serious, thoughtful coffee to the neighborhood—owners clearly know their beans and aren't afraid to stock unique, hard-to-find drip roasts alongside thoughtfully executed espresso and pour overs. The shop has a welcoming, community-focused vibe with plenty of parking and even helpful signage to guide you through busy 2nd Street, making it genuinely easy to visit despite its tucked-away location. Beyond the coffee, they've got solid food offerings that pair perfectly with your cup, creating the kind of spot where locals are already planning their next visit.”

Super unique and hard to find drip roasts
Stopped by this spot today and really enjoyed the food. They were fresh and were served warm. We’ll definitely be back for those.
Teofilo coffee put out signs to show you a u turn suggestions which helps because 2nd street is quite busy with different businesses. It is easily missed if you're not looking. CVS closed down so it is not a landmark to use. It is next to a Cafe so that helps. There isn't much food yet, so waiting for that, hopefully some siopao it's like a chinese steam bun. Coffee tastings are offered and helps finalize your choice for coffee bag purchase. But unsure if they have menu for drip of the day. It has recently opened. If you're looking for Filipino coffee, this is an awesome place that has a lot of history about coffee in the Philippines.
So we finally have a true coffee shop on the Naples Island community of Long Beach community. Welcome to Teofilo Coffee Company to our neighborhood. We really enjoy coffee bean tasting from all over & are so happy that we do not have to travel all the way to the Philippines in order to taste their coffee. Teofilo has brought the taste to us. We ordered their drip and a cappuccino on our first visit. The taste of the coffee was great. Next time we will order some different variations. So good. There is a parking lot and street parking available making it easy to go in and out. They offer wifi service , swag, the business was clean and inviting.
When I arrived at the parking lot , there were plenty of parking spaces. I didn't have problems finding the parking spot. Teofilo Coffee Company was owned by the Philippine family. I went inside of Coffee shop. It was very clean and organized. The atmosphere was a trendy, modern, and cool place. The furniture was contemporary and stylish. This coffee shop was popular among young crowds. The server was friendly and attentive, and he helped me choose their menu. He had excellent customer service, too. They offered Philippine coffee and sweet pastries. I tried the Philippines's Ube Ensaimada pastry with the Americano coffee. The Philippine coffee was mild and sweet tasted. I usually didn't like the bitter tasted coffee, but their coffee was mild and great taste coffee. I tried the Ube Ensaimada pastry, and it was a sweet and delicious pastry. I would like to recommend the Teofilo Coffee Company to everyone. They have the best tasted coffee and great place to hang around with friends and families. .
