Coast To Cascades Cafe

Crema's Take

This Eugene spot seems caught between ambitions—offering made-to-order sandwiches and fresh-cut fries that occasionally shine, but struggling with consistency across the board. The coffee is a definite weak point (reviewers describe it as burnt and chemical-tasting), and service speed is wildly unpredictable, which undercuts the appeal for anyone grabbing a quick morning bite. If you're in the area and craving something beyond typical coffee shop fare, there are better bets nearby.

The bagel was great but the coffee was horrible. I ordered a hot mocha, but it tasted like burnt dirt with chemicals.

EXTREMELY SLOW!!! I ordered 2 slices of pizza, I was prepared to pay the overpriced prices, but I wasn't prepared for them to take 18 minutes to pull 2 slices of pizza from pre-made pizzas and put them on a paper plate.

Avoid at all costs. Ordered The Duck assuming it’s a grilled cheese with bacon and onions…thought it would be impossible to mess this order up. The sandwich came out with 7 or 8 slices of bacon and maybe one slice of melted cheese. It was a bacon sandwich. I paid $21 for a sandwich and fountain soda, and the sandwich was barely edible. I’m unconvinced the kids working at this place have ever made a sandwich before. This airport only has two options of places you can eat. Not sure how the other place is, but if desperately hungry and given the chance again, would just get snacks from the airport store or vending machine vs. paying the ridiculous amount for what I got.

Service was excellent, efficient and thoughtful! Really great hand cut fries, I would get them again. I had the Cali burger lettuce wrapped, and it tasted under seasoned, with guacamole that was obviously from a plastic tube. Vibe was cute, pretty peaceful and a nice place to grab a bite between flights.

$12 for the world’s tiniest Bacon egg and Cheese Biscuit… no drink, nothing else. Just basic. The burritos were $13. It’s criminal especially when it’s so early in the morning and you have an early flight. They have coffee but no sign with the coffee options
