Crema's Take

Yorgo's Bageldashery is a beloved Norfolk institution where loyal regulars return week after week for genuinely excellent bagels, creative vegan options, and those legendary chocolate chip cookies that keep people coming back. The charm extends beyond the bagels—there's a full upstairs bar with big open windows that transforms the space into an inviting brunch destination, where friendly service and a cute, welcoming atmosphere make every visit feel special.

We’ve been coming here every Sunday for years. Best bagel shop in Hampton roads hands down. The staff is great and the vegan options are amazing. And their chocolate chip cookies are the BEST! We just wish they had a better system for seating, it gets so busy and some people will just sit forever after they’re done eating. It’d be great if they could take over the space in the back upstairs to accommodate more people.

Yorgo’s Bageldashery offers a welcoming and charming atmosphere, featuring a cute storefront, ample seating, and an inviting upstairs bar. The service was friendly, efficient, and well organized. The menu includes a wide variety of bagel and cream cheese flavors, with notably generous cream cheese portions. We tried the sourdough bagel with lox cream cheese and the salt bagel with scallion cream cheese. While the sourdough bagel was enjoyable, the salt bagel was overly salty for our taste. Overall, the bagels are good but not particularly standout, as the cream cheese base tastes fairly standard with added mix-ins. Still, the variety and atmosphere make this a spot worth revisiting, and we would be open to trying different menu combinations in the future. It was also nice to see the shop offering free bagels for a good cause. We recommend bringing cash to take advantage of the cash discount, though clearer signage in the store would be helpful.

Cute Brunch place. I love that they have a full bar upstairs with a big open window. Loved the atmosphere. The bagel was delicious, the drinks were great. Ill have to come back to try their coffee next time.

We ate here on a Thursday 1045am. I ordered 2 sausage egg and cheese on their toasted whole wheat bagel. The eggs were well seasoned. The sausage patty was to small but flavorful. The bagel was well toasted but seemed old. Something was not right about the bagel so next time I'll order a different bagel. Just don't order the whole wheat one it's not any good. I'll asked for a double because the sausage patties were to small. Great atmosphere as there is additional seats outside and upstairs! There is a bar upstairs too but who drinks before 3pm??? Only 3 stars on the food because of the sausage patties. I posted a video of the place.
