Crema's Take

This Buffalo take-out spot has genuine heart—the kind of place where staff remember your face and surprise you with kindness during travel mishaps. While service can be inconsistent and kitchen timing unpredictable, their breakfast sandwiches and local beef on weck are solid comfort food when they're firing on all cylinders, making it a decent grab-and-go option if you're patient and lucky with timing.

I was hesitant to purchase the breakfast sandwich but was pleasantly surprised. Very good and filling!

Understaffed. Waited for my sandwich for over 20 mins, only one person in the kitchen. Gave up, went to the Coffee Beanery(probably under same management or ownership). Went to the Coffee Beanery and they didn’t give me all purchased items to go. System allows you to pay for it even items are not available. Teller did not check items in the order. Recheck your orders before leaving if you really have to get something from them.

If you're at the BUF airport, Anchor Bar is better by every measure. Go to Anchor Bar if you have the time. More comfortable chairs, better food, better service, better beer, cleaner taps, better music, more TVs. There are probably more reasons I haven't even acknowledged. Point is, the blue zone is a depressing uncomfortable wasteland you should only hit if you're short on time or an alcoholic that doesn't care about anything but convenience.

Seemed like a fine place from the outside but the food was truly horrible. I'm not exaggerating, the chicken tenders looked like bargain bin frozen grocery store food and tasted microwaved. Genuinely the worst chicken I've been served in a restaurant in years, and they were almost $18. Laughably bad. The most generous interpretation of events is that they ran out of the real menu item and ran to the grocery store to find a substitute. The staff looked like they hate their lives. Avoid at all costs unless you're just grabbing a quick beer. Even then there are better spots in this airport. Awful. Wish I could give zero stars.

Our flight got canceled, and moved to the next night. The staff recognized my wife and me as we walked by, and offered us free coffee. We ordered the beef on weck, and the staff brought us a to-go box for our chips without us having to ask for one. Good food, but the excellent staff made this visit for us!
