Crema's Take

This Northborough spot blends an unexpectedly sophisticated wine and beer selection with a serious café culture, where handwritten receipts and locally-roasted pastries set the tone for a genuinely curated experience. The food leans creative and fresh—from standout falafel sandwiches to The Donut Stand's brioche-raised offerings that sell out daily—making it equally compelling whether you're settling in for a long sit with espresso or grabbing a bottle of natural wine on your way out. There's a warm, unpretentious family-owned feeling here that keeps regulars coming back multiple times a week, even if the location isn't walkable.

What to expect

Classic coffee drinks done right, with creative signature drinks. A slow-sit spot, good for meetings. Pastries and light food on the menu. Family friendly.

I visit this place whenever I am in Marlboro. It's not the same. Sandwiches are good but not as flavorful. Staff is friendly but are not attentive.

Honestly, the best tuna sandwich I’ve ever had. It was so creamy and tangy, and the bread was crispy and buttery. The perfect combination of flavors made in such a simple way, by hand right in front of me. Can’t wait to go back.

I visited The Vin Bin on Friday 1/31 at 11:30am and unfortunately walked away disappointed. While I usually enjoy their selection, my sandwich was underwhelming; specifically, the Iggy’s Ciabatta bread was noticeably stale and lacked the freshness I expect from this cafe. …

Not sure why it’s taken so long for me to do a review, as I’ve been coming here for a few years now. I come here at least 1-2x a week. The food is always creative, delicious and fresh. When I want quality food fast, this is my absolute go to. I haven’t had one bad selection yet.…

Wonderful place, had an excellent falafel sandwich and bought a cheap and cheerful bottle of Picpoul. Very kind staff (receipts are handwritten), and nice vibe. Too bad it’s not in a walkable location.
