I work delivering restaurant catering orders to events and offices around Miami, Ft. Lauderdale, and other areas, and I can say this is the first time someone has kindly offered me a bag with products from the restaurant for just a 5-minute wait while the order was being prepared. I was very surprised because in 4 years, this is the first time someone has taken the kindness to do that. On top of that, their products are delicious. Thank you for so much empathy and quality ❤️
Never will I come here again. We went in for a hot beverage and decided to order 2 breakfast croissants. We were told that there were no fresh croissants ready so we cancelled. Then our server came and asked if we would like the sandwich on brioche instead, so we reordered. When we got our order, both were made on stale croissants that one of the staff had taken out of the case that had ham and cheese sandwiches which I guess they emptied and made our sandwiches with. When we complained we were just told, sorry. No offer to replace or refund or even take one coffee off the bill. Not a great business model.
This is my FAVORITE place for brunch, and I often order lunch from them on DoorDash. The owner takes pride in serving quality ingredients, including making everything from scratch and using clean fats, e.g. the croissants are made with real butter, the fries are cooked in beef tallow, and they make all their own dressings. The flavors are always on point, and I always feel good after eating their food. My favorite dishes are the leek quiche (with caramelized leek on top!), the halloumi salad (a healthy Mediterranean option), and I LOVE their lemon muffins because you can feel how they sift the flour to give make the texture of the bread feel like a lemony cloud in your mouth.
I live in the neighborhood and decided to do some work out for breakfast. I had seen this place and decided to try it. Got the Breakfast Croissant and a Mocha coffee. I genuinely liked the sandwich and the coffee. The atmosphere is great - great lighting, feels nice. HOWEVER ... I hated the service. I got to the restaurant, no greeting, I was confused if I had to order at the cashier or if they attended to the table. I had to ask, and I couldn't even recognize who was a customer and who was an employee. Got seated. The server offered a water bowl for my dog but the funny part was time passed and I had to ask her to bring ME water. The table next to me got there after me but they got attended sooner, water served and their food faster than me. Whatever, anyways I was there with my laptop, not on a rush. Everything was like ok, little details but not big deal. What really got to me, my dog got tangled with the water bowl, I called the server and apologized for the accident, to please help me with the puddle of water. I swear 20 min passed before she came to clean it up. There were only 4 tables with customers, 2 serves (not busy) but I saw how my server went to clean 2 tables of people that already left, con su santa calma. She only came to me because I asked for the check, and then said sorry, it took her so long because she had other things to do - like wow! As I was packing up my stuff to go, I saw she had to clean the puddle with paper towel, don't you guys have a mop? No wonder it took her forever, nobody wants to be squatting on the floor cleaning up water. Idk, very uncomfortable. Not sure if it was lack of common sense or tools. So at this point, this message is to the owner - You are in an area where there are multiple coffe shops and restaurants. If you want to stay competitive, meaning in business, please train your staff on customer service, because the food is great, but if someone has to go through all this, why would they give you their money? If you are relying on common sense of your employees this will be another failed business (which there had been many in this specific area).
Wow. A family run business, Victoria and her kids are amazing. Great finger sandwiches, beautiful desserts, fantastic coffee and perfect looking empanadas. I emphatically encourage you to come enjoy this lovely place for breakfast, brunch, lunch or an afternoon snack. You can't go wrong (and if you look at my previous reviews, I'm not always so complimentary).
