Simon Pure Mediterranean Kitchen is one of a dozen food options at The Gatherall inside Factory 52. I recently tried their falafel pita sandwich featuring a freshly baked pita pocket filled with lettuce, onion, tomato, mint, cucumber, hummus, tahini sauce, and 3 homemade falafel ($11.95). The falafel was good, and the toppings were all fresh and tasty. The sandwiches are served with pita chips, which I did not realize while ordering. I added a side of fries for $3.95, but you could probably skip, as the sandwich with chips was filling enough.
Wonderful place. I’m middle eastern and I vouch for this restaurant wholeheartedly. Fantastic food, made fresh to order, healthy, authentic flavors and customizable. Owner is generous and really wants his customers happy. Highly recommend. Love all the salads, grilled chicken and sides (muhamara and hummus are A++)
Solid chicken shawarma pita. I wish I ordered it Syrian style as someone else ordered it that way and it looked delicious.
First time going to Factory 52, decided against standard pub fare so I tried the Mediterranean style. No one at the counter, ordered my food without any issues, and then proceeded to find a table in a limited amount of indoor seating. It took about 15 minutes to get the text and the food looked awesome. Upon first bite, I was underwhelmed with the lack of seasoning and bitter taste of the sauce. The pita was plain and the rest of it was standard. I will probably try it again but it might be while before we go back
