Had a chance to visit Spoke and Ivy for a birthday dinner. This is a really nice spot downtown. We had a good time and the atmosphere was just ok. It was Loud in there they were pretty full but my spouse and I found it difficult to hear each other. On to the food. We had the crab stuffed mushrooms and lobster roll rangoon appetizers. The rangoon was amazing. Light fluffy wrapping around wonderful lobster filling. The mushrooms were disappointing but I think it was just too much Vodka sauce. Don't get me wrong, the Vodka sauce is great and very flavorful but it completely overshadowed the crab. My spouse even forgot there was crab in there. The burger was small for the price but good. The fries with it were terrible. Soggy and not flavorful. The crispy chicken with the goat cheese and the slightly spicy jam was incredible. I do recommend this place. It's a bit pricey for the atmosphere but worth it for there food quality we had. We'll just need to stick with some of the better dishes next time. The drinks are well made of expensive. The staff did a fabulous job on the birthday drink as well.

This is the restaurant on the MAIN level, NOT the speak-easy in the basement. We were there at 5:30 on a week night. We were seated in a very awkward corner table for two where the tables were really close together. Since it was our Valentine's celebration, I would have been uncomfortable with the tables next to us having people at them because it didn't give you any privacy or space for private conversation. We did not get drinks or appetizers. Our meals were very good (salmon and chicken). The server was good but didn't refill my water and that' a big deal to me. Also, it's supposed to be an upscale place and they were out of paper towels in the bathroom. I feel like that is just basic service they should check on regularly.

I went to spoke and Ivy for the first time during the savor fort wayne. The menu changes seasonaly and the savor menu is limited but everything ordered was AMAZING. We had Ester as our waiter and she was amazing! For starters I got the meatballs and the facotta for the table. The meatballs had a great spice and the flavors of all the sauces made them so good. For my meal I had the Chicken Milanese. It came with a ricotta and pesto. The pesto had a slightly sweet taste that was SOOOO good. We saw that one of the other main dishes pickled green tomatoes and asked to try them. OMG so good. Will definitely be back. This might be my new favorite FW restaurant. 10/10

I really wanted to love Spokes + Ivy for our anniversary, especially since the atmosphere is so beautiful and fancy. However, the food was a major disappointment for the price. The Food: The steak bites were very chewy and overly salty, though the rice puff underneath was a nice touch. My burger was also bad—the meat was dry and the bread felt stale. The focaccia was probably the biggest letdown; it was dry, had way too much baking soda, and felt more like a savory cake than actual focaccia. The vodka pasta was just mediocre. The only highlights were the drinks, the fries, and the garlic aioli. The Service: Our waitress was wonderful and very kind. She even made the focaccia complimentary when I mentioned I didn’t like it, but I didn’t have the heart to tell her that we disliked almost everything else on the table. The Experience: The seating is extremely tight. Because the tables are so close, we felt very uncomfortable with the person at the next table staring at us whenever we spoke our native language. I ended up wishing I had just cooked at home for our special night. Great vibes and lovely staff, but the kitchen needs more consistency.

First time at Spoke & Ivy for brunch. EVERYTHING was delicious! Of special note: potato latkes , garbage bowl and prime rib eggs benedict were 10/10; the cinnamon roll and lobster wonton were also good. Decor was attractive but as the dining room filled up, it became very loud and difficult to have a conversation at our table. In spite of that, the quality of food and service will bring us back in the near future.
