Mad Lab Coffee
6515 W Sunset Blvd, Los Angeles, CA
Crema's Take
“Mad Lab Coffee is a tiny window-counter operation with serious espresso credentials and a knack for creative signatures like their apple pie matcha that somehow nails the balance between indulgent and refined. The cold brew is consistently smooth and balanced, and their mocha is so beloved it keeps people coming back across their small Los Angeles locations. There's something special about the lived-in, friendly vibe of ordering at the window and settling into their outdoor tables—it feels more like grabbing coffee from a friend's passion project than a commercial transaction.”

I visited on a rainy day, and the place had that comfortable, lived-in feel. My cold brew tasted fresh and balanced, not overly sweet, and the finish was really smooth. the line looked long but moved faster than I thought. the whole place felt tidy, from the tables to the restrooms. I’ll be back, and I’m bringing someone with me.
unique espresso, pairs perfectly with their mocha favorite mocha cappuccino in La they have other locations, all are small the espresso is always consistent though outdoor seating only, no bathroom
Stopped by Madlab Coffee in Hollywood on a Monday early morning while just walking around. It's a small spot but what it lacks in size, it makes up for in friendly vibes and great coffee. The service was excellent—warm, welcoming, and quick. The coffee itself was delicious and well-prepared, definitely hitting the mark for an early morning pick-me-up. A perfect little find for anyone wanting quality coffee with a personal touch in the Hollywood area.
I stopped by here to grab a Matcha on my way to work. Love the cute little window and tables. I ordered the apple pie matcha and thought it was going to be overly sweet, but it was PERFECT. Honestly one of the best matcha combos I’ve ever had. I’ll definitely be back!
Located on Hollywood. The shop is small and you don't go inside you just order at the window and pick up. A few tables out front with umbrellas and a couple near building. I like their bean roast its not too heavily roasted and makes for a smoother taste. I typically get standard drinks but they do have specialty flavour combinations. One of the better tasting coffee shops in the area. Street parking at meter.
