Maui Coffee Roasters

Crema's Take
“This roastery near Kahului Airport excels at showcasing single-origin Hawaiian coffees like their standout Ka'u drip, where the origin really shines through in every sip. Beyond the exceptional espresso and pour-over program, they've built a welcoming spot for a leisurely coffee experience with thoughtfully made breakfast sandwiches and pastries that match the quality of their beans. It's the kind of place where friendly staff and genuine care in preparation make it worth the convenience stop before your flight or a deliberate detour into Maui's coffee culture.”

Drinks are worth the treat! The Ka’u drip coffee was amazing! I had it black and you could really state that it’s not any regular coffee that you’re having. Enjoyed it to the last drop! The mango lemonade was refreshing and not too sweet. It was a perfect non-caffeinated drink. The service was fast and friendly. Limited indoor seating but they have 3 outdoor tables for seating which they graciously allowed you to have food from takeout while enjoying your drinks from their store.
Here's the deal: the coffee is good, the bags have roasted by stickers, the food is a little pricey but they make everything to order and one egg sandwich will fill you up. Just be careful with ordering the specialty bagels because it's an extra charge, not worth it to me. It's extremely close to the airport so it makes it worth it for a breakfast stop over before going out further in the island. The bathrooms are locked and clean, so definitely a plus. The staff is friendly and patient because my family couldn't make up their minds. I'd go back but I'd be careful to not spend too much on the food and just focus on the coffee.
Location: This is a convenient coffee stop located nearby OGG (Kahului Airport), making it an easy detour before dropping off your rental car or heading to your hotel. The Coffee: I’m not a big fan of lattes or sweet drinks, so I stuck to the basics and ordered an Iced Americano. Tasting Notes: While I wasn't sure exactly which bean was used, the flavor profile was interesting and complex. It tasted like a dark roast, but it had distinct notes of citrus and macadamia nut. It’s a unique combination that feels very "Maui." Verdict: If you appreciate a good cup of black coffee without the frills, I recommend stopping here. It’s a great way to start or end your trip.
Got the huevo rancheros bagel and a pistachio coconut latte. The bagel was loaded on both sides. Bagel was soft and chewy and worked amazing with the sauce and soft eggs. Flavors were well balanced Latte was great as well. Definitely would come again to try the other bagels and drinks.
The vibes are great. Staff who took my order was very friendly and helpful. I ordered a blended match drink which was delicious. A raspberry cream cheese muffin also very tasty. The female who took my order did tell me my breakfast wrap would be taking 10-15 minutes which I didn’t mind. Place wasn’t packed or busy. It was annoying that they took 45 minutes just for wrap. I kindly asked for an ETA twice. People who came and ordered after me, got their food. They compensated with a free pastry, which tasted like heaven. The matcha filling was out of this world and the bread complimented it so well. I will be coming back I just hope they don’t take forever next time.
