Big Daddy Bagels

Caption for image: poor portion of lox of the “New Yorker” bagel. The food was ok but the small portions of fish are definitely a notable decline since my last review. I would strongly prefer a price increase and a reasonable portion, than a reasonable price with a pathetic amount of fish. Original Review, In-Store Visit: Chairs on stools midday, felt cavernous and liminal (derogatory). The bagels are good but everyone is getting pickup orders. The space is so empty so often they don’t even set the chairs. The food and service are fine but the atmosphere breaks my heart. Chose to turn my order into take out. :/

Best bagel spot in Longmont BUT as a frequent customer I wish the bagels were more fresh, more toasted and still warm when I pick up. They don’t wrap the bagels in aluminum foil (only parchment paper) so they are cold by the time you pick up, even if you ordered it for pick up 5ish mins prior. Bagels are stale some days (esp the Parmesan bagel so I know longer order it). Bagel and cream cheese flavors are pretty basic. Best combo I’ve had so far is the jalapeño cheese bagel with scallion cream cheese and I would recommend it. Hopeful that this place can be more!

Being from NJ we were on the hunt for a good bagel. I read the reviews and decided to give them a try. We went back to basics and just did bagels and cream cheese but they have a huge menu! The bagel was very good. Not hard like the other bagel place in town. The service was friendly. We’re definitely coming back because there are some really good sounding sandwiches on that menu.

Come one now, this is basically a plain bagel at this point. You can do better than this. And I know eggs are more expensive now but the skimping on the eggs is also not appreciated when I’m paying $10 for a bagel sandwich.

Great bagels, great service, easy parking. We love Big Daddy and are lucky to have it close to our home. The staff is super kind. Bagels are soft and crisp at once. I’m not an east coast bagel connoisseur but I am a local who has never had a bad bagel from big daddy. And honestly, forget the bagels- their Snickerdoodle Coffee is one of dreams!
