Crema's Take

Paradise Café in Dearborn is a late-night destination that blends creative chai culture with bold comfort food, earning particular devotion for their loaded Detroit fries and inventive matcha and chai offerings like the Instagram-famous High Chai Tower. The atmosphere draws groups and couples alike seeking an instagrammable experience alongside genuine hospitality, though the menu's ambitious fusion approach lands better on drinks than food. If you're craving specialty tea experiences and a welcoming spot for an extended hangout with friends, this is worth the trip—just manage expectations that their culinary creativity shines brightest in the cup.

Please come back and reopen. You were open late and had the best loaded fries. The detroit fries were my absolute favorite and sometimes I would add Gobi to them because the Gobi loaded fries were also delicious. The sliders were good and perfectly portioned. The butter chicken pizza was delish and the drinks from chai to Boba to masala lemonade were 🔥

Wow, wow, and wow!!! My boyfriend who is South Asian wanted to try this place when he noticed it on Instagram, we took the first opportunity we had on a weekend off to head down to Dearborn to give it try. When you enter, it’s like walking into another world. Such beautiful colors surround you from floor to ceiling, and the food is just so brilliant! We had the butter chicken samosas, shrimp tacos, potato dosa, crispy chicken sliders, and garlic naan. All incredible! VR was the sweetest, she had a very nice calm about her and we really enjoyed our time there with her! Will definitely return again! A favorite already!

The overall experience at Paradise cafe was ok. The food was confusing. They have added a lot of things in menu which is not authentic but their effort to make it fusion is also not successful. The cafe is small, okayish ambience . We have ordered masala nachos, Hydrabadi biryani, pani puri, mango mastani drink and pomegranate soda . The only things which is good is biryani and it was very delicious. The quantity of biryani is less for $15 . The nachos were average. There was curd in nachos which doesn’t go with that. Pani puri was ok too. They gave gravy chhole with puri which is again doesn’t taste good. Mango mastani and other drink is also ok. Not recommended.

I went for a ladies’ day out luncheon at this restaurant that we found online. Walked in… we were so impressed with the atmosphere. We each purchased the High Chai Time sampler for $25! It was so much fun, trying all the different varieties of appetizers, sandwiches, and desserts all for one price. Our server, Shanni, was absolutely amazing and even took pictures with us. He was very attentive and taught us about all the things that were on the sampler. We highly recommend this spot for lunchtime.

5/5 Thanks to IG, decided to try Paradise Cafe because the High Chai Tower that I saw in Reels seemed intriguing. It ended up having an impressive variety of savory and sweet snacks that had us Thanksgiving full at the end. All the chicken options were tender and we also enjoyed Lamb Keema Samosas. There was no need for us to take advantage of the All-You-Can-Eat as one tower had more than enough food. If only I had the room to try more because the entire menu is filled with incredible options. Luckily for us, we got to the restaurant before 6 pm and beat the dinner rush. As the evening progressed, there was a single server who was taking care of a full house and that isn't the way to do it. Nothing against the server because he was extremely personable, but he got so busy to the point where we didn't bother asking for more water because we would've felt bad doing so. The sugar that's supposed to come with the chai was missing as well. Please hire more staff so your main server can get relief and guests can be fully taken care of! Giving 5 stars since the food was amazing and the server was a hustler.
