Crema's Take
“Hava Java Mesa is a spirited local spot where you'll find thoughtfully crafted coffee drinks and creative espresso cocktails (the espresso martini gets real love) paired with a genuinely welcoming atmosphere that keeps people coming back. The energy here is distinctly community-focused—think live music events, a cozy vibe perfect for lingering with friends, and a kitchen that nails breakfast burritos alongside quality cold brew, all without a chain coffee shop in sight. It's the kind of place where the care in the cup matches the care in the room, even if opinions on ownership vary.”

It was very nice. Went hear to grab a drink with a friend and listen to the live music. It was a great atmosphere. I enjoyed the drink, espresso martini. I would definitely say it would be a great little place for a date night if youre not into crowds or bars.
TL;DR: Workers there are cool, except the owner lady. If you enjoy cringe live music at random times during the week, this place is great. Coffee / Drinks is best in the area. Cons: - The owner lady seems angry all the time and she's rude. - The flow to order / pick up drinks is congested and confusing - Weird live music for old people several nights a week who still want to feel relevant and cool. So if you're in that demographic, you'll fit right in. If you're like most people, you won't. - In between the random nights they have music, they just leave all the audio equipment out in the lobby. Pros: - The baristas and younger people who work there are generally nice and friendly in stark contrast to the owners - Coffee is very good - Nice beer selection - Comfortable seating with various options - Nice mix of different kinds of people from boomers to high school kids depending on the time of day
Absolutely love this place! No chain coffee shop here. The breakfast burrito was 10/10 on flavor and portion size. Highly recommended. The cashier assisted the Cold Boo is a favorite. Upon taking the first sip I understood why. Excited to come back one evening for happy hour and tap into their craft beer selection. A solid number of choices to check out. With the drop in weather temperatures check out their outdoor patio. Great place to enjoy your latte or lager while reconnecting with friends
I got their berry smoothie. I’m gonna go ahead and say it isn’t a smoothie with fruit. It appears it’s just ice and juice? Separation occurred within a few minutes. 3 minutes max to be more specific. Speaking of specific: they should probably change the name of the drink from “smoothie” to “slushy” as it has the consistency of a slushy. Crazy to charge over $8 for that drink though if it is just juice and ice. I see no seeds from fruit in the drink. Nice environment and service though.
Wow!!! This place is sooooo cute, such a comfortable vibe. The girl helping us was super sweet. We just stopped on our way for a coffee but I will most definitely be back. Saved for the next time we are in town. I ran into the owner who informed us of their open mic nights and the best thing teen bands get stage time. So madly impressed with everything about this spot. a MUST STOP!!
