Amanita Cafe
223 W Walnut St, Lancaster, PA
Crema's Take
“Amanita's farm-to-table approach shines brightest in their thoughtfully sourced pastries and breads from Elsewhere, paired with a genuine commitment to accommodating dietary restrictions that goes beyond lip service. The atmosphere strikes an impressive balance between relaxed and buzzing—it's equally welcoming for a solo work session, a family breakfast, or meeting friends—and the staff clearly knows their ingredients and cares about getting things right. Skip this if you're a coffee purist (they serve Passenger, which skews sour), but come for the fresh, unfussy food and the kind of hospitality that makes you want to return.”
What to expect
Classic coffee drinks done right. A slow-sit spot, good for meetings. Full breakfast, pastries, and light food on the menu. Family friendly.

Most amazing restaurant in Lancaster. Such fresh food, amazing unique menu and foods. Literally everything we had was fantastic. A true farm to table experience.
As someone with celiac disease, I was so impressed. The staff went over all the gluten-free options, explained their separate prep area and toaster, and made sure my allergy was noted. The food was delicious, the coffee was great, and the vibe is super fun and cozy.
We live in the city and Amanita has quickly turned into one of our favorites breakfast spots in Lancaster. The food is fresh. Prices are fair. And the atmosphere is relaxing and kid friendly! Definitely recommend.
