We actually found this place while taking our daughter to a playground nearby, and decided to give it a try since the Google reviews looked really good. And it definitely lived up to the hype! Both breakfast platters we ordered were great. The Turkish breakfast platter has a huge portion and totally worth it. I especially loved the sausage; it’s not too salty and has amazing flavor. The orange juice is freshly made and not overly sweet. The Turkish coffee is very strong but not bitter, so I’d definitely recommend it for anyone who enjoys espresso.
LOVED it here! Me and my girlfriend were looking for a breakfast spot to go to and we stumbled upon this one on Google. The atmosphere is so welcoming and soft. The waitress was very nice and the cook was more than happy to take our order! I had questions about customizing my breakfast plate and he was very helpful and was more than happy to try and accommodate me. The breakfast was sooooo good! The homemade potatoes were perfectly crispy. Everything tasted homemade and the spicy sausage is so flavorful! I’ll definitely be coming back for sure. It’s one of those breakfast spots where you know you’re gonna have a good day after eating there 💕
My son and I ate here when we were moving him into his apartment in Bayonne. And thank God we did! Fantastic food in an understated spot, with a classic small local diner feel. The place was clean. The portions were generous, the food was fresh and well-prepared, well-presented by a very pleasant and welcoming man who seemed to be running the whole show. I loved it all and couldn't finish the food--had to take the apricots and walnuts with me to snack on later. I loved the Turkish sausage and the way the potatoes were prepared with peppers.
Café Talya is such a wholesome hidden gem! The Talya Special French Toast is SO good - perfectly fluffy, sweet, and comforting - and the omelette is just as amazing, cooked with so much flavor. The home fries is a must try, specially recommended!! What truly makes this place shine, though, is the people. The chef is such a happy soul - greeting everyone with genuine warmth and the kind of energy that makes you instantly feel at home. The service is kind, attentive, and just as welcoming! 🌸✨
An underrated food spot in Bayonne! Went in for brunch and the food, service, and atmosphere was perfect. Definitely recommend the Turkish sausage and the pancakes. The orange marmalade and olives in the breakfast platter were delicious 😋
