Speed Goat Express Coffee

Tried to Speed Goat for the first time this past weekend. Lots of interesting seasonal drink flavors for Valentine’s Day. My husband got a “chocolate covered cherry latte” which he really enjoyed and I had an original latte which was also well done. Prices were actually a bit lower than some other local coffee shops. Lots of seating (bar-style & tables) plus a small sitting area in the back for more casual conversations. We will definitely return on our next trip to Rapid City!

Adorable coffee spot with delicious breakfast food! The green chile cheese tamale (pictured) was outstanding, and my daughter loved the egg bites. Highly recommend!

Surprisingly good latte and homemade tamales. Tamales 8/10 Latte 9-10 My flavor palette is 1/2 sweet, usually with honey. I like to taste a smoothie espresso shot through the milk & honey.

After seeing the 5 star reviews I figured I better try it. We were not disappointed. The atmosphere is very welcoming and inviting to sit down, do some work, or just visit with friends. The barista was patient as I looked through their flavors and offered some guidance. I settled on a huckleberry honey latte and it was excellent. My daughter thoroughly enjoyed her vanilla latte, appreciating the hearty coffee flavoring. We're only in town for a week, but we'll be back for another speed goat experience.
