Crema's Take
“Kitten Espresso Bar seamlessly blends specialty coffee craft with a genuine cat sanctuary, where you can sip expertly pulled shots while interacting with adoptable felines that are visibly loved and well-cared-for. The staff's warmth shines through in every interaction—whether they're gracefully handling a reservation mishap or helping guests find their perfect feline match—making this Brooklyn spot feel less like a novelty cafe and more like a community hub where humans and cats alike belong.”

I came here on Valentine's Day and I completely goofed up my reservation time. They were so busy and I was devastated. Luckily, the staff were able to remedy my mistake and we were able to go in anyway with no fuss at all. They very easily could have said "sorry dummy, we're busy as hell try again another day!" so that was really cool. It was really clean, with lots of cozy spots from the cats. I could tell by their body language that all the cats were really relaxed and felt super safe. They were all snoozing with their tummies out and happily munching on treats and slow blinking at passers-by. That's a big deal! We met this perfect man named Marcel. I wish so bad we could have snapped him up, I'm jealous of whoever does. He was a real gem!
This was my second time here and I love this place even more every time I visit!! If you love cats, Brooklyn Cat Cafe is honestly a dream. The cats are adorable, playful, and clearly so well cared for, each one has their own little personality and it’s impossible not to fall in love. The space is cozy and calming, and the staff are so kind and genuinely caring toward the cats. I took a ton of photos, most of them on my digital camera, because every moment was too cute not to capture. I left so happy (again) and I already know I’ll be back. Highly recommend to every cat lover 🐱💗📷
The Cat Cafe is a great place to visit cats, foster or Adobe! After our former cat passed away, myself and my teens visited a few times and adopted our new buddy! We are so pleased have Wooly. He’s 4 and a great addition!
This is the kind of place that's just good for the soul. They are very well organized and have so many great felines with whom to interact. Entrance fees and add ons (treats - an excellent way to get attention immediately; do this!) help fund their mission to provide homes for homeless cats. Most (all?) are also coincidentally available for adoption.
I always love visiting the cat cafe, but today I visited the newly opened kitten room and WOW! YES! For $50 I got a full hour with a whole clowder of kittens who were full of energy and ready to play. Man, what a gift. Feeling down? Want to celebrate? Been a while since you’ve seen a kitten? Book the kitten room, you won’t regret it. The folks who work at the cat cafe are so sweet and kind. They really love the cats and you can hear it in their enthusiasm when they talk about each cat as an individual. I’d love to volunteer with them someday soon.
