Cafe Cortado

I live in town and always drive by and gave it a try. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. The coffee was very good but can be on the pricier side compared to other spots in town. There were a few people waiting on orders when I arrived but not a crowd. I waited almost 30 mins to order and receive my drink not sure if that’s normal. I’m always patient with small businesses when they’re busy so I had no problem waiting especially when people are kind. They have interesting unique drink options if you’re looking for something different. It’s a nice addition to downtown. I’d give it another try.

First time stopping by Cafe Cortado. Lynn (sp?) was working and she was such a ray of warm sunshine. They have some house made syrups that have local and organic ingredients. I got the honey butter latte w oatmilk- HIGHLY recommend. I like a rich latte, not big into sweet.

Raise your glass (or coffee cup) to this beautiful place! Such a wonderful little GEM in the heart of San Marcos! Don't be fooled by the size (like a little red caboose!); it's what's inside that counts. :-) They even have patio seating! Offering a wonderful menu of hot or cold beverages, served by the kindest people with HEART, and service with a smile! Be sure to check their menu for their "Specialty Lattes"; you may find something NEW... or even an old favorite! For me, it was a caramel macchiato. Mmmmm... so delicious and served piping hot on this very cold day! No matter HOW you get there, just do it... You'll be glad you did! #CafeCortado #SanMarcos

Went for the first time today and it was a great experience along with great coffee! Will definitely be visiting again!

Excellent cold brew made the right way; and yes, there is a right way. The quality and taste of the coffee has improved significantly under new ownership. Very friendly and chill vibes. Excited to have this re-vamped coffee spot as a new local go to. Highly recommend!
