Fountain Place Cafe
1445 Ross Ave, Dallas, TX
Crema's Take
“Tucked away in a downtown Dallas office building, Fountain Place Cafe rewards those who find it with genuinely affordable, made-with-care breakfast and lunch options—think $4 breakfast burritos and hearty soups that actually satisfy. The cozy, clean space feels like a quiet refuge for lingering conversations over traditional coffee and tea, with a particularly solid matcha program and pastries that pair well for an unhurried morning or midday break.”

Another vacant dallas building listed on google maps. Literally take this listening down this place isnt even open nor does it exist
Terrible service in a terrible place. The staff will no longer serve you if the clock is 3 p.m., think about it only 1 hour before closing. They are just lazy employees. They will start closing the storefronts within an hour and kicking you out. Horrible, I will never come here again.
Great little place! It's a challenge to get to from the street but the food is good and the staff is very friendly and the space is cozy and clean. I had a chicken salad and corn chowder. Definitely recommend if you're in the area.
So pleased with a nice all-day breakfast option in downtown Dallas for a reasonable price! I had the breakfast burrito for $4.00 ?! …and it filled me up. It was not your small, typical breakfast taco, it was medium-sized and filling enough for only one. Plenty of seating, different seating options for kick back and relax cushion chairs or tables. Even outdoor seating next to a very pleasant water fountain display. I was staying at the Fairmont and walked just around the corner… so convenient. Update - I went back for oatmeal… so good.
I've visted Fountain Place Cafe several times for lunch. Other than a black bean soup I ordered once and didn't like, I've been a fan of their sandwiches and soup. A few co-workers and I had lunch here recently and I ordered the shrimp and corn chowder soup as well as a pulled BBQ chicken sandwich. Both were delicious. One of my co workers ordered a beef gyro and enjoyed his sandwich as well. I'll keep coming back for the pleasant customer service and delicious sandwiches.
